Welcome back managers of the True Dynasty Baseball League.

Teams will be able to resign players with expired contracts starting March 16th.

Please use the poll I posted to determine which day we will have the draft this year. The time of the draft will be 3 pm EST.

Players that remain on rosters that have expiring contracts during the offseason can be resigned for the price they are going for in that year's drafts. Please read the constitution or below to review the signing rules.

For players not signed during the offseason resigning period, teams will have the opportunity to bid for them during the Free Agency Draft.

Teams can resign players drafted that year to a multi-year contracts for the cost they bought them in that draft before the trade deadline.


TEAM NAMES


All teams will have names that resemble a current MLB franchise. I will require teams to include the city in their teams names. You can only abbreviate the name if you do not have enough characters to spell out your full name. "Old school" names can only be used during rivalry weeks.


SIGNING PLAYERS TO CONTRACTS


Each team will be allowed to spend $260 a year on the players on your roster. You are allowed any or all of your players if you wish as long as your salaries do not exceed $260.

You are allowed to sign one player to a 5 or 6 year contract and another one to just a 5 year contract. If you sign someone in the offseason to a one year contract, you will be required to let them go into the free agency draft during the next offseason.

You can either sign players you drafted before the trade deadline or in the next offseason. You can sign players for the cost you bought them for in the draft before the deadline or you can resign players in the offseason for the cost of what they are going for in leagues with the same number of players we have.

A player cannot sign consecutive one-year contracts. The initial deal you sign your player to when you draft him does not count as a one-year contact (even though the deal only lasts one year).

All free agents picked up midseason will count as $0 towards their salary until the end of the season where they must be signed or released to free agency.

You are not required to sign any of your players if you wish not too.


TRADES


I will be approving of all trades in this league. If a trade is made and I approve of it but there is a large portion of the league that disapproves, I will have the league vote on the trade. If 67% of the owners disagree, the trade will be revoked.

You can do your trades through Yahoo, but you must take into account the contracts of the players that will be traded.

Offseason trades and 3 or more team trades are acceptable as well.


AMENDMENTS


I will be posting amendments on the message board that the league can vote on to add to the League's constitution. Owners are strongly recommended to offer suggestions for amendments. I will take decent ideas and have the league vote on it. A simple majority will determine if a rule is passed or not.


INTEGRITY


All teams must remain competitive throughout the entire year. You must set a lineup every week that doesn't consist of a player on a team not playing or someone that is known to be injured.
