that's just sad. All that money left in people's pockets and they didn't even make an effort to grab an elite prospect who, by the way, is eligible at catcher in a 15-team, 2-catcher league.

That's called people paying no attention to their baseball teams cuz football season is almost here. Sad, but even in a league of "experts" the shit happens.

Actually, I think it's called "only two, maybe three teams have a shot at winning the league, so why should anybody else bother with Montero?"
can't speak for others, but for me it was about priorities and roster construction, not money... fucking three bench spots killing me.
I would have had to borrow a bench spot from Eno to grab him after waivers.
