    • Surrenders three runs Sunday
Castillo allowed three runs on six hits and no walks while striking out three over five innings Sunday against the Twins. He did not factor into the decision.

Advice: The Twins struck early with a run in the first on two base hits. Castillo went on to retire 11 of the next 12 batters he faced but then ran into more trouble in the fifth, allowing a double and two more singles, which led to another pair of runs for the Twins. He was able to work his way through the inning, but his day would end there at 77 pitches. Castillo managed to not give up any free passes for the first time since May 12, though he's also failed to complete six innings in four of his last five starts. He still holds a respectable 3.87 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 103:30 K:BB in 104.2 innings and projects to take the mound again to kick off a weekend series with Toronto. Rotowire.com 6 minutes ago

    • Maintains red-hot bat
Nimmo went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI and two runs Sunday against the Astros.

Advice: Nimmo continues to swing a hot bat, collecting three more hits including a game-tying homer in the seventh. Following a 10-game hit streak, Nimmo's bat had cooled a bit with just one hit in his 10 previous at-bats, though he did reach base four additional times via walks. Nimmo carries a solid .247/.367/.815 slash line on the season with 13 dingers, 50 RBI, 53 runs and five steals. However, over his last 14 games Nimmo is slashing .382/.477/.782 with six homers, 18 RBI and 20 runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:34 pm

    • Finishes single short of cycle
Paredes went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a double and an additional run scored Sunday against the Nationals.

Advice: Paredes entered the day with just two hits over his last 23 at-bats but broke out of it in a big way with his first three-hit game since May 21. He did all his damage off Nationals starter Patrick Corbin, going 3-for-3 against the lefty. Despite the recent slump, Paredes maintains a healthy .276/.361/.472 slash line on the season with 13 home runs, 43 RBI, 32 runs and 32 walks over 328 plate appearances. • Brandon Nimmo doubles, homers
Brandon Nimmo went 3-for-5 with a home run, double, walk, three RBI, and two runs scored on Sunday against the Astros.

Advice: Nimmo’s two extra-base hits came at extremely clutch times for the Mets: his two-run homer, the 100th of his career, tied this game in the seventh and his RBI double again brought the Mets even in extra innings. His resurgence over the last few weeks has been a spectacle as he’s pulled his OPS up from .708 on June 13th to .815 today. He’s found a home in the two-hole of the Mets’ lineup and is on pace for 26 homers, 30 doubles, 106 runs scored, 100 RBI, and 10 stolen bases this season. That is the statline of a bona fide stud. • Luis Castillo grabs a bat Sunday against Twins
Luis Castillo struck out three and allowed three runs over five innings on Sunday in a no-decision against the Twins.

Advice: What a mess. Castillo was forced to grab a bat, and struck out looking in the fourth inning, after Seattle lost the designated hitter earlier in the contest when Mitch Haniger left the game following a hit by pitch. The 31-year-old righty was simply outdueled by Twins starter Joe Ryan, who limited the Mariners to just a pair of runs into the sixth inning before the bullpen took over and pretty much shut things down completely from there on out. He’ll bring a respectable 3.87 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 103/30 K/BB ratio across 104 2/3 innings (18 starts) into a home outing on Friday against the Blue Jays. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:31 pm

    • Gives up two homers in loss
Waldron (5-7) took the loss Sunday against the Red Sox. He gave up four runs (three earned) on six hits, one walk and three strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Advice: Waldron was plagued by the long ball, as he allowed two homers in a start for the first time this season. He snapped a streak of nine straight starts in which he allowed two runs or fewer. The knuckleballer has been a revelation for the Padres rotation this season, and he'll take a 3.56 ERA and 1.19 WHIP into his next start vs. the Diamondbacks. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:21 pm
    • Ramirez drives in run in loss to Royals Sunday
Jose Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a run scored, a double and an RBI against the Royals on Sunday.

Advice: Ramirez hit an RBI double in the eighth inning to make it 6-1 Royals and scored on Josh Naylor’s RBI single to give us the final score of 6-2. Ramirez continues his ridiculous RBI pace as he now has 76 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:17 pm
    • Picks up 16th save
Jansen earned the save Sunday against San Diego, striking out one batter during a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Jansen was lights-out, and he has now converted on 12 straight save chances. It was his seventh straight appearance without allowing a run. He's been fantastic as of late, with a 0.70 ERA over his last 12 appearances. The 36-year-old has converted 16 of 17 save chances this season and will carry a 2.22 ERA and 1.02 WHIP into July. • Burleson drives in a run in win over Reds Sunday
Alec Burleson went 1-for-3 with an RBI against the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Burleson started the scoring with an RBI single in the fifth inning to put the Cardinals on the board. He’s 12-for-30 (.400) with 13 RBI in his last nine games. Burleson is hitting .278 with a .768 OPS and 38 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:01 pm
