    • Snags fourth win
Clase (4-1) pitched a perfect inning to earn the win Tuesday over the White Sox.

Advice: Clase kept the game tied at 6-6 in the top of the ninth inning, needing just 10 pitches to retire the side. Bo Naylor's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the frame sealed the win for the Guardians, giving Clase his first decision since May 19. The closer is on an eight-inning scoreless streak and has maintained elite ratios with a 0.67 ERA, 0.62 WHIP and 39:4 K:BB through 40.1 innings overall. Clase is also 25-for-28 in save chances this year, with the Guardians having bounced back to win in all three of his blown saves. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:36 pm
    • Scores three runs in return
Drury went 1-for-2 with two walks and three runs scored in Tuesday's 7-5 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Drury missed nine straight games due to an illness before appearing off the bench Sunday versus the Tigers. This was his first start since June 21, and he played the full game at second base. The infielder has struggled this year, slashing .175/.246/.237 with one home run, six RBI, 12 runs scored and no stolen bases over 126 plate appearances. Drury will likely occupy a starting role at the keystone going forward, though Luis Guillorme is also in the mix there. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:43 pm
    • Craig Kimbrel slams door on Mariners on Tuesday
Craig Kimbrel slammed the door on the Mariners on Tuesday night, retiring all three hitters that he faced in the ninth inning to preserve a two-run advantage.

Advice: It wasn’t the smoothest of innings for Kimbrel, as he plunked Luke Raley to start the frame and also hit Jorge Polanco with one out in the inning, but he rebounded to get Dominic Canzone on a ground out to first and Julio Rodriguez on strikes to end it. Aside from a small blip early in the season, Kimbrel has been exceptional in the ninth inning for the Orioles this season. He has now converted 20 of his first 24 save opportunities on the season while posting a 2.30 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and a 46/14 K/BB ratio over 31 1/3 innings in 35 appearances. • Brandon Drury scores three times in loss to A’s
Brandon Drury singled, drew a pair of walks and scored three runs as the Angels fell to the Athletics on Tuesday evening in Oakland.

Advice: The 31-year-old infielder led off the fifth inning with a single off of Mitch Spence, then scored the Halos’ first run on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Nolan Schanuel. Drury also led off the seventh inning with a walk and scored on a two-run single by Schanuel. He led off the ninth inning with a walk as well and was once again plated by Schanuel — this time with an RBI double. Drury finished the night 1-for-2 officially and is now hitting .175/.246/.237 with a homer and six RBI through his first 126 plate appearances on the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:59 pm
    • Collects 20th save
Kimbrel hit two batters and struck out two in a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Kimbrel was a little wild, but he didn't let the extra traffic on the bases rattle him. After allowing just two runs (one earned) over 9.1 innings in June, he's off to a decent start in July, with this outing also being his 20th save of the campaign. Overall, he's at a 2.30 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 46:14 K:BB through 31.1 innings this year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:44 pm
    • Hits three-run homer in win
Rafaela went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Rafaela hit a three-run home run off Valente Bellozo in the fourth inning to break the game open for the Red Sox. He hit .315 in June and stayed productive to open July with his first home run since June 17. On the season, the 23-year-old is hitting .244 with nine home runs, 44 RBI, 40 runs scored and 10 steals over 304 plate appearances while primarily splitting time between center field and shortstop. • Lowe homers twice off Cease in win over Padres
Nathaniel Lowe went 2-for-4 with four RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Padres.

Advice: Lowe put the Rangers on the board in the bottom of the first inning when he sent a two-run homer into the stands off Padres starter Dylan Cease. It was just Lowe’s fifth homer of the season, but the veteran first baseman has now hit safely in three straight games while driving in six runs and homering twice over that span. Lowe got to Cease again in the third inning when he hit another two-run blast to push the Rangers’ lead to 5-0, and now has 33 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:38 pm
    • Eovaldi allows one hit in win over Padres
Nathan Eovaldi allowed one hit over seven innings while striking out six to earn the win on Tuesday against the Padres.

Advice: Eovaldi was aided by a two-homer night by Nathaniel Lowe, but the veteran righty didn’t need much help. Eovaldi allowed just one baserunner on the night, which came on a Bryce Johnson single in the top of the third inning. Eovaldi lowered his season ERA to 3.15 in this one and bounced back nicely after allowing five earned runs in his previous outing. Eovaldi is scheduled to make his next start on Sunday against the Rays, where he’ll look to pick up his sixth win. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:36 pm
    • Emmanuel Clase earns win against White Sox
Emmanuel Clase pitched a scoreless ninth inning in a 7-6 win over the White Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: Clase pitched the ninth in a tie game and allowed no runs with no hits, no strikeouts, and no walks. He then earned a win when the Guardians scored off Michael Kopech in the bottom of the inning. He now has a 4-1 record to go along with 25 saves on the season. Pretty, pretty, pretty good.
