    • Fernando Tatis Jr. day-to-day with triceps contusion
Fernando Tatis Jr. is day-to-day with a left triceps contusion, the Padres announced.

Advice: Tatis left Friday’s game after he was in the elbow by a pitch. If he can’t play Saturday, then José Azocar will probably play right field. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:32 pm

    • Dealing with contusion
Tatis left Friday's game with a left triceps contusion, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Tatis exited the game two innings after being hit on the arm by a pitch. He appears to have avoided serious injury, though it's unclear whether imaging has already occurred, or if it will be required. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:15 pm

    • Shea Langeliers hits go-ahead homer in eighth
Shea Langeliers hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the eighth to give the Athletics a 6-5 win over the Twins on Friday.

Advice: With the A’s trailing 5-4, Langeliers took Jhoan Duran deep to give Oakland a 6-5 lead and ultimately the victory. He drove in another run with a single to center in the fifth. Langeliers shows the potential to be a long-term catching option for fantasy teams, but his .207 average makes him a tough sell in one-catcher formats. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:09 pm

    • Fernando Tatis Jr. leaves game after hit by pitch
Fernando Tatis Jr. was pulled from Friday night’s battle against the Brewers after he was hit by a pitch on his left elbow.

Advice: The 25-year-old superstar remained in the game to run the bass for himself and even played another couple of innings in the field, but he was ultimately lifted for a pinch-hitter the next time that his spot came around in the Padres’ lineup. He’ll presumably head for X-rays to rule out any potential fractures. Stay tuned, as the Padres should have an update on his status after the game. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:26 pm

    • Exits after HBP
Tatis was removed from Friday's game against the Brewers after being hit by a pitch on the elbow, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Tatis was plunked in the third inning, though he stayed in the contest for two more frames before being removed for a pinch hitter. The Padres should provide an update on his availability after the game. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:24 pm

    • Bo Bichette (calf) expects to return when eligible
Bo Bichette (calf) is hopeful that he’ll return from the injured list when first eligible on Tuesday.

Advice: The 26-year-old shortstop took ground balls, hit in the batting cages and ran the bases with the team in Cleveland on Friday. As long as he avoids any setbacks over the weekend, anticipate his stint on the injured list to be as short as possible. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:10 pm

    • Resumes baseball activities
Bichette (calf) took ground balls, ran the bases and hit in the batting cages Friday, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Advice: He looks to be on track to return from the injured list once eligible Tuesday and should ramp up his workload over the weekend. While Bichette's been sidelined, Isiah Kiner-Falefa has been handling most of the shortstop work. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:59 pm

    • Nolan Jones (illness) returns to lineup on Friday
Nolan Jones (illness) returned to the Rockies’ starting lineup for Friday’s series opener against the Nationals.

Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old outfielder missed each of the team’s previous two games due to illness, but he’s right back out there in left field on Friday night. Jones will bat sixth against DJ Herz and the Nationals on Friday evening at Coors Field. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:45 pm

    • Alex Verdugo sits against left-hander on Friday
Alex Verdugo is not in the Yankees’ starting lineup for Friday night’s battle against the Braves.

Advice: While Verdugo started each of the team’s last two games against left-handed starters, he’ll get a breather with tough southpaw Chris Sale taking the hill for the Braves on Friday night. Verdugo is enjoying a solid season for the Bombers’, slashing .254/.309/.413 with nine homers and 41 RBI through his first 74 ballgames. Jahmai Jones will start in his place in left field and bat fifth for the Yankees on Friday evening in the Bronx. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:10 pm
