      Advice: Walker led off the top of the sixth inning with a solo homer. The blast was Walker's ninth and tied him for the team lead with Ketel Marte.       Ezequiel Tovar hit a pair of solo homers Tuesday in a losing cause against the A’s.

      Advice: In spite of his willingness to swing at anything and everything, Tovar has managed to hit .279/.313/.468 this season. His second homer today, projected at 443 feet, was the second longest of his career and easily the longest among those to come away from Coors Field.       Harris went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Cubs.

      Advice: Harris started May in a dreadful 0-for-26 slump, but he's snapped out of it by going 10-for-39 (.256) with two homers, two steals, four RBI and three runs scored over his last 10 contests. The outfielder is slashing .250/.289/.378 with five homers, seven steals, 17 RBI and 19 runs scored through 45 games this season. Harris hit over .290 and flirted with 20-20 years in each of his first two big-league campaigns, so there's still another level he can get back to as he rebounds from his slump.       Javier Assad yielded three runs — two earned — in 4 2/3 innings Tuesday against the Braves.

      Advice: This really should have been worse, considering that Assad gave up two homers and walked five batters. Still, his ERA remained intact at 1.70, and though he left with the Cubs down by a run, he avoided taking what would have been his first loss in 10 starts this year.       Assad allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits and five walks while striking out four over 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus Atlanta on Tuesday.

      Advice: Assad gave up a two-run home run to Orlando Arcia in the second inning and a solo shot to Michael Harris in the fourth. The five walks were also a season high, and it was the fourth time this season Assad has issued three or more free passes. For the season, he's at a 1.70 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 46:20 K:BB through 53 innings across 10 starts. He's had little trouble with the long ball this year, so it's safe to assume he'll continue to find success in run prevention if he can keep the ball down.       Matt Chapman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in a loss to the Pirates on Tuesday.

      Advice: Chapman had three of the four hardest-hit balls on the Giants during the game. He had a 113.1 mph groundout, a 106.4 mph double, and a 104.8 mph home run that traveled 414 feet. He also added another 103.2 mph groundout, so it’s safe to say he was seeing the ball pretty well on Tuesday. The veteran is now 19-for-68 (.279) with two home runs, 15 runs scored, and eight RBI during May. He continues to hit cleanup for the Giants every game and is an underrated fantasy option.       Joe Ryan struck out six over seven shutout innings on Tuesday in a win over the Nationals.

      Advice: Ryan’s velocity was up across the board as his four-seam fastball had a little bit of extra life on it, which led to an impressive eight swinging strikes and a near-elite 39 percent CSW. He limited Washington’s lineup to just three hits and a pair of walks over seven stellar frames. The 27-year-old righty will bring a strong 3.15 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 64/9 K/BB ratio across 60 innings (10 starts) into a home outing on Monday against the division-rival Royals.       Advice: Muncy fielded grounders on Tuesday at Dodger Stadium as he works his way back from a right oblique strain that sent him to the injured list last week. It certainly doesn’t appear that he’s facing a lengthy absence, but oblique issues can be tricky. There should be a definitive timetable for his return at some point in the next few days.       Muncy took some groundballs Tuesday as he started up baseball activities after his recent oblique strain, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: The Dodgers placed Muncy on the 10-day injured list Friday due to a Grade 1 right oblique strain. According to manager Dave Roberts, Muncy sustained the strain in batting practice prior to Thursday's game.
