    • Aaron Judge to bat cleanup for AL All-Stars
Aaron Judge will bat cleanup for the American League in Tuesday’s All-Star Game.

Advice: It seems Bruce Bochy disagrees with Aaron Boone in using Judge as a No. 2 hitter. He has Judge batting behind Steven Kwan, Gunnar Henderson and Juan Soto on Tuesday, so unless someone gets on base, we’ll miss out on a Paul Skenes-Judge matchup. Rounding out the lineup behind Judge will be Yordan Alvarez, José Ramírez, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Adley Rutschman and Marcus Semien. Rotoworld Monday, 1:12 pm

    • Collects rare two-inning save
Jansen tossed two innings Sunday, allowing one run on two hits and a walk to pick up the save against the Royals. He struck out three.

Advice: Jansen struck out the side in the eighth, then battled through the ninth, allowing a run but inducing a game-ending groundout with the tying run on second. While he had accomplished the feat previously in the postseason, it was the first regular-season two-inning save of Jansen's 15-year career. The 36-year-old reliever was not named to the American League All-Star roster, but he has put together another All-Star-caliber campaign with 19 saves, a 2.16 ERA, a 1.08 WHIP and 38 strikeouts over 33.1 innings. • Corey Seager named to American League All-Stars
Corey Seager was named to the American League All-Star team on Sunday as an injury replacement for Carlos Correa (foot).

Advice: It’s the fifth time that the 30-year-old shortstop has been named an All-Star. He’s certainly deserving of the honor, slashing .270/.355/.479 with 18 homers, 48 RBI and a stolen base through his first 83 ballgames. Rotoworld Sunday, 5:08 pm

    • Eyeing July 26 return
Friedl (hamstring) will head to the Reds' training facility in Arizona this week to increase his baseball activities, and manager David Bell said Sunday that the outfielder is trending toward a July 26 return from the 10-day injured list, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Friedl was placed on the IL for the third time this season June 24 after he strained his right hamstring June 17 and played through the injury for about a week. The 28-year-old seems to be progressing as expected from his latest setback on the health front, but he still has a few more hurdles to clear in the recovery process before being activated. Once he's ready to rejoin the Reds, Friedl should step back in as the club's everyday center fielder. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:04 pm

    • Lifts 11th homer
Contreras went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Sunday's 9-3 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Contreras went 0-for-10 over his previous three games. He was able to snap the slump in his second at-bat Sunday with his solo shot, which put the Brewers ahead 2-1 in the third inning. The All-Star catcher has had few quiet stretches this year. He's now at a .286/.352/.440 slash line with 11 homers, 55 RBI, 65 runs scored, 23 doubles and five stolen bases over 93 games. • Kenley Jansen goes two innings for 19th save
Kenley Jansen got a two-inning save, allowing one run in the process, against the Royals on Sunday.

Advice: Jansen struck out the side against the top of the order in the eighth before running into some trouble in the ninth. Still, he held on for his 19th save. The run was the first he’d allowed since June 12. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:54 pm

    • J.D. Martinez out of lineup Sunday vs. Rockies
J.D. Martinez is not in the starting lineup against the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: Martinez will get an early start to his All-Star break with the day off. Pete Alonso is the designated hitter, Mark Vientos is the first baseman and Jose Iglesias will get the start at third base. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:33 am

    • Out of lineup Sunday
Martinez isn't in the starting lineup for Sunday's matchup versus Colorado.

Advice: He'll begin the final game before the All-Star break on the bench while Pete Alonso gets a day out of the field as the Mets' designated hitter. Martinez went hitless while striking out five times in eight at-bats over the first two games of the series and is batting just .194 with a home run, four RBI and a 37.2 percent strikeout rate across 11 contests in July. • Swipes eighth bag
Lowe went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base Sunday against the Guardians.

Advice: After battling injuries for much of the first half, Lowe has yet to find his rhythm at the plate. He's hit just .188 with a 37.1 percent strikeout rate across 10 games in July, though he has managed four stolen bases in that span. Lowe's performance should improve in the second half if he can stay healthy, but he has only a .670 OPS across 158 plate appearances to this point. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:43 am
