    • Crushes homer in loss
Marte went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's 10-3 loss to the Padres.

Advice: The second baseman is on a roll to begin June, going 11-for-26 (.423) with three homers and six RBI over his first seven games of the month. Marte is up to 13 long balls, 35 RBI, 41 runs scored, one stolen base and a .282/.340/.508 slash line over 63 contests this season. Marte's topped the 20-homer mark just twice in his first nine major-league seasons, but he's on pace to do it for the second year in a row. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:50 pm

    • Knocked around in no-decision
Lynn did not factor into the decision in Friday's 8-5 win over the Rockies, allowing four runs on six hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Lynn entered this start on a roll, tossing a 0.56 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 14:5 K:BB over 16 innings in his last three starts, but couldn't control a shaky Colorado lineup. This marks the fifth time the 37-year-old veteran has allowed four earned runs in an outing this year. His ERA now stands at 3.58 with a 1.38 WHIP in 65.1 innings. Lynn is scheduled to make his next start at home against Pittsburgh. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:00 pm

    • Lance Lynn gives up four over four in no-decision
Lance Lynn was charged for four runs in four innings in a no-decision Friday against the Rockies.

Advice: All four runs came in the fourth inning, and all on the same play. With the bases loaded, Lynn allowed a three-run triple to Michael Toglia, and Toglia picked up a Little League grand slam as he scored on an error. Lynn struck out six and walked two in a mediocre — at best — effort Friday night. His next start comes Thursday against the Pirates, assuming the rotation order stays the same. • Justin Steele remains winless after quality start
Justin Steele dropped to 0-3 after allowing three runs in seven innings Friday against the Reds.

Advice: Two of the runs scored in the fourth after Steele had Elly De La Cruz picked off first base, only for Cruz to reach second because of errant throw from Michael Busch. If that had turned into an out, Steele might have wound up allowing just one run tonight. He’ll face the Rays next. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:43 pm

    • Yelich has three hits in route over Tigers Friday
Christian Yelich went 3-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base against the Tigers on Friday.

Advice: The stolen base was his ninth of the season. Yelich continues to swing a hot bat at the plate as he’s up to .324 on the season with a .934 OPS. The 32-year-old outfielder is in the top 15 in all of baseball in wRC+ (min. 150 plate appearances). Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:38 pm
    • Correa has two more hits Friday
Carlos Correa went 2-for-3 against the Pirates on Friday.

Advice: It was a quiet night for the Twins offense as they were shutout by Mitch Keller and the Pittsburgh bullpen. Correa added two more hits to his ledger. He also hit second in the order, which is the spot ahead of Royce Lewis. Correa is no longer a star or even an All-Star, but he’s quietly having a nice season as long as he can continue to stay healthy. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:22 pm

    • Lands on IL
The Astros placed Tucker on the 10-day injured list Friday with a right shin contusion, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Advice: Tucker has been held out of action since he fouled a ball off his right shin during Monday's game against the Cardinals. Manager Joe Espada said Friday that Tucker is feeling much better since then, per Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle, though the outfielder's recovery has progressed much slower than the team initially expected. His move to the IL is retroactive to Tuesday, which will allow him to potentially return next Friday for the start of Houston's weekend series with the Tigers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:20 pm

    • Astros place Kyle Tucker (shin) on 10-day IL
Astros placed OF Kyle Tucker on the 10-day injured list with a right shin contusion.

Advice: Tucker has been unable to play since leaving Monday’s game with a bruise on his left shin, and the Astros will place him on the injured list rather than play shorthanded. There’s no current timetable for when the 27-year-old can return, but fantasy managers will have to be without one of the best outfielders in baseball for at least a week. • Kyle Tucker (shin) remains out Friday vs. Angels
Kyle Tucker (shin) is not in the starting lineup for Friday’s game against the Angels.

Advice: Tucker will miss a third straight game while dealing with the shin contusion that he picked up Monday. The outfielder is considered day-to-day with a good chance to return to the lineup against the Halos before the end of the weekend. Trey Cabbage is starting in Tucker’s place.
