    • Slugs second homer
Diaz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Padres on Wednesday.

Advice: Diaz accounted for half of the Rockies' runs in the contest with his solo shot to center field in the eighth inning. The blast snapped a 19-game homerless drought for the backstop, who belted 14 long balls last season. Despite the modest power output thus far, Diaz has had a nice start to the campaign with a .312/.357/.429 slash line and 11 RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:52 pm
    • Elias Díaz slugs solo homer in loss to Padres
Elias Díaz went 2-for-4 with a solo homer on Wednesday against the Padres.

Advice: After knocking a base hit in the fourth inning, Díaz hit his second home run of the season with a solo shot in the eighth. He got some help on this one as his deep fly ball bounced off the glove of Jackson Merrill and over the outfield wall. It counts all the same. The 33-year-old backstop is hitting .312/.357/.429 with the two homers and 11 RBI across 84 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:11 pm
    • Corey Seager diagnosed with left shin contusion
The Rangers announced that Corey Seager left Wednesday’s game with a left shin contusion.

Advice: Fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief now. Seager was drilled in the shin by a pitch during the seventh inning of Wednesday’s battle against the Mariners, but it sounds like he was fortunate to avoid any structural damage. He’ll be sore for a couple of days, but it shouldn’t be anything that will keep Seager out of the Rangers’ lineup for long. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:53 pm

    • Exits with bruised shin
Seager was removed from Wednesday's game against the Mariners due to a left shin contusion, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Seager remained in the game to run the bases after taking a pitch off his shin in the seventh inning, but he was replaced on defense prior to the eighth. His ability to remain in the game immediately after getting hit suggests his injury is relatively minor, though it's still possible the Rangers sit him down for Thursday's series finale. The 29-year-old infielder went 0-for-2 with a walk before being pulled Wednesday and is now slashing .192/.276/.192 across his last seven games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:50 pm

    • Corey Seager leaves game after hit by pitch (shin)
Corey Seager was pulled from Wednesday’s contest against the Mariners after being hit on the shin by a pitch during the seventh inning.

Advice: The superstar shortstop remained in the game initially to run the bases for himself but was ultimately lifted when the Rangers took the field. It’s likely that he’ll undergo some precautionary X-rays to rule out any fractures. Hopefully it’s just a bruise and he’ll be considered day-to-day. Expect Rangers’ skipper Bruce Bochy to provide an update as soon as more information is available. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:47 pm

    • Luis Arraez posts three hits in loss to Braves
Luis Arraez went 3-for-5 with a run scored on Wednesday in the Marlins’ extra-inning loss to the Braves.

Advice: Just like that, Arraez is batting .299 (32-for-107) after notching his seventh multi-hit performance in the last two weeks. He sparked Miami’s ninth-inning rally against Braves stopper Raisel Iglesias with a leadoff single to cap off a three-hit effort. He’s in the midst of an extended hot streak at the moment and it wouldn’t be surprising at all if he were back in the batting title race in a few weeks. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:32 pm

    • All Rise: Aaron Judge homers in win over A’s
Aaron Judge went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer on Wednesday, powering the Yankees to a decisive 7-3 victory over the Athletics.

Advice: Judge’s ongoing struggles at the dish haven’t gone unnoticed by fantasy managers, but he managed to put together a couple solid at-bats in this one, taking Athletics starter Joe Boyle deep for a two-run shot in the opening frame. It was his fourth round-tripper of the season and first time leaving the yard since April 14. The 31-year-old fantasy superstar is going to emerge from his ice-cold start at some point, it’s just a matter of time. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:56 pm

    • Resumes catching work
Murphy (oblique) was able to catch bullpen sessions Tuesday and Wednesday but has yet to resume swinging a bat, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Murphy's ability to throw at full strength while donning his full catching equipment represents a positive step forward in his recovery from a Grade 1 left oblique strain, but until he starts swinging the bat again, his return from the 10-day injured list shouldn't be viewed as imminent. The backstop has been on the shelf since March 30 with the injury. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:35 pm

    • Gets maintenance day
Turner is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.

Advice: Turner's absence from the lineup looks to be nothing more than a routine maintenance day after the 39-year-old had started in each of the Blue Jays' last nine games. Daniel Vogelbach will fill in for Turner as Toronto's designated hitter. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:57 pm
