    • Earns four-out save
Doval picked up the save Monday, allowing one hit and no walks with two strikeouts across 1.1 scoreless innings.

Advice: Doval retired four of the five batters he faced Monday to earn his second save of the campaign. After racking up 39 saves a season ago, Doval has only seen two save chances and has only made four appearances this far. however, he'll likely have opportunities to enhance those numbers with two more games coming against the 3-14 Marlins and a four-game series against the Diamondbacks left this week. • Notches second win
Musgrove (2-2) allowed three runs on seven hits and four walks over six innings Monday, striking out three and earning a win over the Brewers.

Advice: Musgrove produced a fairly lackluster line, but it was his second quality start of the year. He coughed up all three runs in the first two innings before settling in for a decent outing. The 31-year-old righty still hasn't found a groove in 2024; Musgrove is sporting a 6.29 ERA with a 20:11 K:BB through 24.1 frames. He forced just six swinging strikes Monday, tying his lowest mark of the year. Musgrove is currently in line to face the Blue Jays at home this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:07 pm
    • Joe Musgrove settles in to net win over Brewers
Joe Musgrove yielded three runs over six innings on Monday in a win over the Brewers.

Advice: Musgrove generated only six swinging strikes and finished with an underwhelming 23 percent CSW. He got into trouble right away, giving up an RBI single to Willy Adames in the opening frame before serving up a two-run shot to rookie Jackson Chourio in the ensuing frame. Fortunately, he managed to settle in afterwards, keeping Milwaukee off the scoreboard the rest of the way. He’ll bring a bloated 6.29 ERA, 1.77 WHIP and 20/11 K/BB ratio across 24 1/3 innings (five starts) into a home outing on Sunday against the Blue Jays. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:51 pm
    • Steals second base
Bichette went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's win over the Yankees.

Advice: After swiping his first base Friday night against Colorado, Bichette quickly added his second steal Monday against the Yankees. The Toronto shortstop only stole five bases in 2023, so it's possible he is looking to return to his running ways when he stole 38 bases from 2021 to 2022. Bichette's first 65 plate appearances have been rough so far as he's slashing .217/.277/.333. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:40 pm

    • Stifles Yankees in win
Bassitt (2-2) earned the win Monday, allowing one run, four hits and two walks over 6.1 innings against the Yankees. He struck out five.

Advice: Bassitt cruised to his second win Monday night, relying on an eight-pitch mix to keep Yankees hitters off-balance all evening. The only blemish of the night came in the second inning when Oswaldo Cabrera knocked an RBI-single through the infield. Bassitt is lined up to pitch against the Padres on the road in his next start. • Chris Bassitt fires 6 1/3 strong to beat Yankees
Chris Bassitt yielded one run over 6 1/3 innings on Monday in a win over the Yankees.

Advice: Bassitt and relievers Tim Mayza, Chad Green and Yimi García combined to completely shut down New York’s lineup, allowing just one run on four hits and a pair of walks. The 35-year-old righty finished with five strikeouts and only issued two walks. He’s worked into the seventh inning in back-to-back outings and will carry a pedestrian 4.03 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 22/11 K/BB ratio across 22 1/3 innings (four starts) into a road tilt on Sunday against a red-hot San Diego squad. • Set for another bullpen session
Sewald (oblique) will throw a second bullpen session Tuesday, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.

Advice: Sewald threw 18 pitches in his bullpen session Saturday, which was his first since being placed on the 15-day IL with a Grade 2 left oblique strain. Tuesday's session should give the Diamondbacks a clearer picture on Sewald's progress and whether the right-hander is ready for a rehab assignment. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:40 pm

    • Paul Sewald (oblique) throwing bullpen Tuesday
Paul Sewald (oblique) will throw a bullpen session Tuesday.

Advice: It’ll be the second bullpen session for Sewald since he went on the injured list with a Grade 2 left oblique strain. The right-hander will likely need a couple more bullpens before he can start a rehab assignment, and then he could be back closing games for the D-Backs by the end of April. • Held out again Monday
Yelich (back) remains out of the lineup for Monday's game versus the Padres.

Advice: Brewers manager Pat Murphy said pregame that Yelich is "about the same" in regard to his progress from a back injury, although the club is hopeful some medication the outfielder is taking will help, per Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. A decision as to whether Yelich will be placed on the injured list will be made Tuesday. He hasn't played since Friday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:21 pm
