Travis d’Arnaud hits three homers in Braves’ win
Travis d’Arnaud hit three homers to drive in six runs and power the Braves past the Rangers 8-3 on Friday.
Advice: There weren’t any cheapies either, as d’Arnaud’s homers were projected at 429, 440 and 433 feet. With a chance at a fourth in the bottom of the eighth, d’Arnaud grounded out against Austin Pruitt. It’s d’Arnaud’s second career three-homer game, the other coming with the Rays in 2019. He had been without a homer in 48 plate appearances this season, but his OPS jumped from .561 to .819 tonight.
