    • Ke’Bryan Hayes gets a day off on Monday
Ke’Bryan Hayes is not in the starting lineup for the Pirates against the Mets on Monday.

Advice: It’s a routine day off for the third baseman, who has been struggling to provide fantasy value apart from speed. Since June 1st, Hayes is hitting .220/.248/.284 with two home runs, nine runs, and eight RBI in 28 games. However, he does have seven steals over that timeframe, so he remains an option in deeper formats if you need speed. We have still not seen the breakout many were hoping for, and it’s looking like it might never come. Jared Triolo will start in his place on Monday. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago

    • Report: “Growing belief” Marlins will trade Jazz
According to the Miami Herald’s Craig Mish, “there is a growing belief [Jazz] Chisholm Jr. will be traded.”

Advice: Chisholm is in the midst of his healthiest season yet, playing 87 games so far while hitting .255/.326/.407 with 10 home runs and 17 steals. According to Mish, “This is the first time there has been genuine interest in Chisholm as injuries, and his personality have kept other clubs wondering what they would be getting in return.” The Marlins now seem primed to take advantage of that spark of interest by dealing the oft-injured 26-year-old for potential future pieces. While Chisholm does have some risk, his power/speed should net the Marlins a decent return and could be an impactful piece for a contender at the deadline. Rotoworld 43 minutes ago

    • Makes pinch-hit appearance Sunday
Rodriguez (quadriceps) entered Sunday's extra-inning loss to the Blue Jays as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning and was hit by a pitch in his one plate appearance.

Advice: Rodriguez was out of the starting nine after being removed early from Saturday's game against Toronto with the injury, but a subsequent MRI came back with "nothing out of the ordinary," per MLB.com. As had been announced by manager Scott Servais before Sunday's contest after Rodriguez completed some pregame running drills, the outfielder was healthy enough to take an at-bat. However, Servais immediately substituted Dylan Moore for Rodriguez on the basepaths once the latter was plunked, and Rodriguez was subsequently formally ejected in the ninth inning for shouting from the dugout after a called third strike on Mitch Garver. With the benefit of a team off day Monday, Rodriguez could be healthy enough to return to the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against the Padres. Rotowire.com 59 minutes ago

    • Sitting out Monday
Hayes is out of the lineup for Monday's contest versus the Mets.

Advice: Hayes appears to be getting a routine maintenance day after he started in each of the previous six games. Jared Triolo will fill in for Hayes at third base. Rotowire.com Today, 7:44 am

    • Fans 10 in no-decision
Berrios didn't factor into the decision Sunday against Seattle, allowing four runs on seven hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out 10.

Advice: Berrios had issues keeping the ball in the park Sunday, with a Victor Robles solo homer and a three-run home run by Mitch Garver accounting for the Mariners four runs on the day. Berrios' struggles with the long ball aren't particularly new, as the 30-year-old has surrendered a round tripper in seven consecutive starts and has yielded multiple homers five times this season. However, there was a silver lining for Sunday's start, with Berrios setting a season high in strikeouts. He's on track to face the Diamondbacks in Arizona next weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 12:50 am
    • Lands 23rd save
Kimbrel picked up the save Sunday, allowing one hit and no walks with two strikeouts across a scoreless inning against Oakland.

Advice: Kimbrel has now fired seven consecutive scoreless frames, going 7-for-7 in save chances during that stretch to bring his season total up to 23 saves. The 36-year-old fell to a 4.73 ERA after his first 16 appearances of 2024, but has been dominant since, recording a 0.43 ERA with 31 strikeouts across 21.0 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 12:48 am
    • Jose Berrios punches out 10 in no-decision
Jose Berrios piled up 10 strikeouts over six innings of four-run baseball in a no-decision against the Mariners on Sunday afternoon in Seattle.

Advice: Overall, Berrios scattered seven hits on the afternoon while issuing one base on balls. All of the damage done against him came via the long ball, with Victor Robles launching a solo homer in the third inning and Mitch Garver crushing a three-run shot in the fifth. Berrios got 13 whiffs on 98 pitches in the ballgame, posting a CSW of 31 percent. He now holds a 3.76 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and an 87/29 K/BB ratio over 115 innings through his first 19 starts on the season. He’ll toe the slab against the Diamondbacks his next time out in Arizona on Saturday night. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:47 pm
    • Craig Kimbrel earns 23rd save against A’s
Craig Kimbrel recorded his 23rd save Sunday with a scoreless ninth against the A’s.

Advice: Kimbrel has been denied a 10th career All-Star nod, at least for now. His 2.10 ERA seemed worthy, and it’s sort of a surprise that Clay Holmes was picked over him, something that would have been more justifiable a couple of weeks ago. Kimbrel could have and still might become just the 11th pitcher to go to 10 All-Star Games. Clayton Kershaw is the only active pitcher in that club. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:22 pm
    • Homer among four hits in win
Heim went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, a double, an additional RBI and three total runs scored in Sunday's 13-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: Heim tied the game with an RBI single in the fourth inning before adding a solo shot in the sixth. The catcher has gone 15-for-41 (.366) with two homers, four RBI and eight runs scored over his last 12 contests. For the season, he's up to eight homers, 36 RBI, 31 runs scored, one stolen base and a .247/.294/.367 slash line across 296 plate appearances in a starting role. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:16 pm
