    • Bobby Miller strikes out four in no-decision
Bobby Miller pitched decently in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday evening, allowing two runs on four hits over his five innings of work.

Advice: The 25-year-old right-hander punched out four batters on the night while issuing three free passes. All of the damage done against him came on one mighty swing of the bat by Christian Walker in the fourth inning. Miller generated 10 swings and misses on 90 pitches on the night — seven of those on his heater which averaged 96.5 mph — while posting a CSW of 23 percent. Miller now sports a 6.12 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and a 25/15 K/BB ratio over 25 innings through his first six starts on the season. He’ll look to get back in the win column when he squares off against the Brewers at home on Sunday. Rotoworld 11 minutes ago
    • Nabs win Tuesday
Phillips (1-0) allowed a run on one hit and struck out one over one inning but earned the win Tuesday over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Phillips gave up a tie-breaking solo home run to Joc Pederson in the top of the ninth inning, but the Dodgers replied with two runs of their own in the bottom of the frame. The homer was just the second Phillips has allowed all year, though this was the second outing in a row he's been scored on. The right-hander is at a 2.10 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 27:8 K:BB with 13 saves and a hold over 25.2 innings this season. Rotowire.com 15 minutes ago
    • Christian Walker goes deep in loss to Dodgers
Christian Walker went 2-for-5 and slugged a two-run homer on Tuesday night as the Diamondbacks fell to the Dodgers in Los Angeles.

Advice: The 33-year-old slugger evened the score at 2-2 when he clobbered a 402-foot (107.1 mph EV) two-run shot off of Bobby Miller in the fourth inning. He also added a two-out single off of Alex Vesia in the seventh inning. Walker is enjoying another strong season in the middle of the Diamondbacks’ lineup, slashing .259/.331/.480 with 18 homers, 55 RBI and two stolen bases (in four attempts). Rotoworld 15 minutes ago
    • Goes five innings in no-decision
Miller allowed two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out four over five innings in a no-decision versus the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Miller was responsible for a game-tying two-run home run by Christian Walker in the fourth inning. This was Miller's third start since he returned from shoulder inflammation, but he's given up 10 runs over 13.1 innings with a 7:9 K:BB across those outings. Overall, he's at a 6.12 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 25:15 K:BB through 25 innings over six starts this season. Miller is still likely trying to find a rhythm after a two-month absence. With his next start projected to be against either Milwaukee or Philadelphia -- the other two National League division leaders besides the Dodgers -- fantasy managers may want to take a wait-and-see approach with Miller in the short term. • Bobby Witt Jr. goes deep in loss to Rays
Bobby Witt Jr. crushed his 13th home run of the season on Tuesday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Royals to victory over the Rays.

Advice: The 24-year-old superstar got the Royals on the board with his 399-foot (108.0 mph EV) solo shot off of Kevin Kelly in the sixth inning. That would be his lone hit in four at-bats on the night. Witt has been a five-category monster for fantasy purposes this season, slashing .311/.362/.539 with 13 homers, 55 RBI, 66 runs scored and 22 stolen bases through his first 87 games. • Continues strong play
Bellinger went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Bellinger has started to get going after a relatively slow start to the season. He was batting .226 through the end of April, but turned that around by hitting .290 in May and .279 in June. Bellinger is now off to a solid start in July, and after a nice bounceback effort in his first season with the Cubs last year following a disappointing 2022 campaign, the 28-year-old appears primed for a strong finish to 2024. • Bellinger has two-hit night vs. Phillies
Cody Bellinger went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Bellinger doubled in the second inning to score Nico Hoerner and give the Cubs their first run of the game. It would be the only run the Cubs would score through the first eight innings before Seiya Suzuki hit a three-run homer in a ninth-inning rally. Bellinger continues to stay hot since having his nine-game hit streak ended last week, as he’s now hit safely in three-straight games and is slashing a solid .270/.329/.421 on the season. • Trea Turner homers twice in win over Cubs
Trea Turner went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Cubs.

Advice: Turner hit a solo homer in the top of the third inning to give the Phillies a 3-0 lead and later returned to hit a two-run shot in the fifth inning to push the lead to 5-1. The Phillies start shortstop now has five homers on the season and has hit safely in five of his last six games. Turner is slashing a solid .338/.386/.487 on the season but hasn’t offered much as far as steals are concerned, which could be chalked up to the hamstring injury he returned from a few weeks ago. • Alexis Díaz earns a save in win over Yankees
Alexis Díaz pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn a save in a 5-4 win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: Díaz has now converted 11 straight save chances and has pitched to a 1.98 ERA in 14 2/3 innings over that stretch. However, some of the early command issues remain as Díaz has a 13.2 percent walk rate over that same span. He may remain volatile given his subpar command and he doesn’t miss as many bats as your typical closer, but he remains locked into the closer’s role on a solid team and will continue to rack up saves.
