    • Taj Bradley excellent in no-decision
Taj Bradley pitched five scoreless innings on Sunday against the Royals. He struck out six, walked three, and allowed just one hit.

Advice: Bradley has been quite good since returning from the injured list with a 3.13 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 23 innings. He’s shown increased comfortability with his splitter and threw it more often on Sunday, 32% of his total pitches, than he has in any career start. It’s added a nice element to his repertoire with a movement profile between his blazing fastball and curveball. He looks to be on the way towards a breakout season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:57 pm
    • Receiving rest Sunday
Lowe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Lowe will get a maintenance day in the series finale after going 1-for-16 at the plate while starting in five games since being reinstated from the 10-day injured list Monday. Amed Rosario will spell him at second base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:23 am
    • Absence continues as expected
Riley (side) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said Friday that Riley likely won't return to action until Monday versus Washington, so it's no surprise the third baseman will sit for the 13th straight game due to an intercostal strain. Zack Short will receive another start at the hot corner in the series finale at Pittsburgh. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:44 am

    • Austin Riley (side) remains out of lineup Sunday
Austin Riley (side) is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Pirates.

Advice: That makes 13 straight games that Riley will miss due to his side soreness. The infielder will take a seat again with Zack Short drawing another start at the hot corner. Riley’s next chance to start will come Monday against the Nationals. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:34 am

    • Picks up fourth save
Sewald earned the save in a win over the Marlins on Saturday, striking out one over a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Sewald had no issues running through the bottom of Miami's lineup to secure the save, needing just nine pitches to get the job done. The right-handed reliever remains perfect on the season in save opportunities and hasn't allowed a run since his first relief appearance back on May 7 (spanning six appearances). Sewald has also recorded at least one strikeout in three straight outings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:26 am
    • Strikes out nine in loss
Cease (5-4) was tagged with the loss Saturday, allowing four runs on eight hits over 6.2 innings against the Yankees. He struck out nine.

Advice: Cease got himself into trouble right out of the gate after surrendering a leadoff single to Anthony Volpe to open the contest, followed by a two-run shot off the bat of Aaron Judge two batters later. The right-hander would then go on to strike out five of the next seven batters he faced before giving up another two runs in the fourth. Cease has now allowed three or more runs in three consecutive starts, going 0-2 over that stretch. On a positive note, he's recorded at least eight strikeouts in four of his last five outings and has posted a dynamite 42:6 K:BB in May. His 82 strikeouts on the campaign leave him sitting behind only Tyler Glasnow (87) for the league lead. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:33 am

    • Sewald records four save against Marlins Saturday
Paul Sewald tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Sewald has allowed one run with seven strikeouts and one walk in seven appearances and converted all four of his save opportunities since coming off the injured list. Fantasy managers that held Sewald since the beginning of the year can’t ask for much more than what they’re getting right now. Rotoworld Saturday, 10:17 pm
    • Cease strikes out nine in loss Saturday
Dylan Cease allowed four runs in 6 2/3 innings and took the loss against the Yankees on Saturday.

Advice: Cease allowed eight hits, no walks and struck out nine. He’s had two tough starts in a row with difficult matchups against the Braves and Yankees. His ERA has increased from 2.45 to 3.29 in that time. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Royals on the road next week.

    • Allows two runs Saturday
Civale allowed two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out five over five innings in a no-decision versus the Royals on Saturday.

Advice: Civale did a fine job, limiting the damage to a Nelson Velazquez solo shot in the second inning and a Bobby Witt RBI single in the third. This was Civale's eighth straight start without a win, though he's at least managed to complete five innings in each of his last three outings after a run of four starts where he failed to do so. The right-hander has a poor 5.72 ERA with a 1.34 WHIP and 57:15 K:BB over 56.2 innings across 11 starts this season. He's projected for a tough road start in Baltimore his next time out.
