    • Joe Ryan can’t overcome bad start versus D-backs
      Joe Ryan yielded four runs in six innings Tuesday in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks.

      Aaron Judge went 2-for-3 with a walk and five RBI in a loss to the Mets on Tuesday.

      Advice: Judge had an RBI double in the seventh inning with the Yankees down by seven but then crushed a 390-foot grand slam at 109.4 mph that brought the Yankees within two. While the bottom of the Yankees lineup may not be particularly deep, they still have Aaron Judge, which will always make them a threat. The big right fielder now has 29 home runs and 75 RBI already this season, which seems like video game numbers. You’re feeling great if you were able to take him with your first-round pick.     • Hunter Greene coughs up six runs to Pirates
      Hunter Greene allowed six runs on seven hits in four innings in a loss to the Pirates on Tuesday.

      Advice: The game started with Greene throwing up on the mound after delivering a first-inning fastball and it didn’t get much better from there. He struck out five and walked two and his velocity was fine on the day, but he clearly wasn’t feeling 100 percent. He posted a solid 27 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW, but the command wasn’t great and the Pirates were able to scratch out their runs on just one extra-base hit.       Gavin Williams (elbow) will make another minor league rehab start on Wednesday.

      Advice: Williams got his pitch count up to 66 during his most recent rehab outing last Friday for Double-A Akron when he struck out four and allowed one run over five innings and now appears to be getting close to making his season debut.       David Hamilton is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays.

      Advice: Hamilton has been playing through a lingering side issue of late and will take a seat on Tuesday night at Fenway Park with veteran righty Kevin Gausman on the mound for Toronto. The 26-year-old speedster figures to make an appearance off the bench at some point in the contest. It’ll be Enmanuel Valdez taking a turn at the keystone to open the game.       Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Tuesday that Marte (knee) will be sidelined for "at least four weeks," Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

      Advice: Marte will be shut down for 15 days to allow a right knee bone bruise to heal and will need time to ramp things back up after that. A rehab assignment at some point before activation seems likely. Ben Gamel replaced Marte on the roster and could see some reps in right field, although DJ Stewart and Tyrone Taylor should be higher in the pecking order.       Mets manager Carlos Mendoza told reporters Starling Marte (knee) is expected to miss at least four weeks.

      Advice: It’s a significant loss for the Mets as Marte finally landed on the injured list ahead of Tuesday’s series opener against the Yankees after playing through a right knee issue for an extended period. The 35-year-old veteran corner outfielder has been diagnosed with a bone bruise and Mendoza indicated that it’ll be at least one month before he’s ready to return.
