    • Francisco Lindor goes 4-for-4 with homer and steal
Francisco Lindor went 4-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and a stolen base in a 3-2 win Thursday over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Fantasy managers have to be thrilled seeing this one, as Lindor has been a massive disappointment a third of the way through 2024. The homer is the ninth of the season, and the stolen base gives the 30-year-old seven swipes through 2024. Lindor has gotten off to poor starts before only to finish hot, and there’s reason to believe that can happen again. It doesn’t make the previous two months any less frustrating, however. • Paredes blasts 10th home run in win Thursday
Isaac Paredes went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run against the Athletics on Thursday.

Advice: Paredes started the scoring with a two-run home run in the first inning. The home run was his 10th of the season and he’s now up to 32 RBI. Paredes is now hitting a solid .295 with a .890 OPS on the year.

    • Correa has three RBI in win Thursday
Carlos Correa went 1-for-4 with a triple, a run scored and three RBI against the Royals on Thursday.

Advice: Correa cleared the bases with a triple in the sixth inning that put the Twins ahead for good. Despite missing some time with an injury, he’s quietly having a nice season. Correa is hitting .259 with a .187 ISO, 22 runs and 18 RBI in 39 games this year. Rotoworld Thursday, 1:09 pm

    • Rosenthal: Luzardo “likely to be traded”
According to Ken Rosenthal, Jesús Luzardo “is the single player most likely to be traded” this season.

Advice: Luzardo was a popular name in trade rumors in the offseason but was ultimately not moved. He has two more arbitration years before he becomes a free agent, so the Marlins should be able to get a decent return for him. In a year where they are not contending, it makes sense to see what they could get for the lefty, especially with Sandy Alcantara, Max Meyer, Eury Perez, Edward Cabrera, Braxton Garrett, and Ryan Weathers all able to take on a full workload in the rotation next season. • Cruises to win No. 5
Burnes (5-2) earned the win over Boston on Wednesday, allowing an unearned run on three hits and three walks while striking out five batters over seven innings.

Advice: Burnes was splendid in the outing, yielding no extra-base hits and allowing zero earned runs for the second time in his past three starts. The right-hander's five strikeouts were mildly disappointing, but he did have his swing-and-miss stuff working with 16 whiffs in the contest. Burnes has completed at least six frames in seven straight starts and is tied for second in the league with nine quality starts on the campaign. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:22 pm

    • Earns second straight win
Garrett (2-0) earned the win Wednesday over the Padres, allowing a run on six hits over five innings. He struck out two.

Advice: A Ha-Seong Kim homer in the third inning was the lone damage against Garrett, as the left-hander earned a second straight win -- he's allowed just one run on nine hits over 14 innings in that span after allowing 11 runs in his first two outings this season. Garrett's ERA is down to 4.56 with a 1.06 WHIP and 21:3 K:BB through his first 23.2 innings this year. He's currently lined up for a home matchup with the Rays in his next start. • George Springer doubles, scores twice
George Springer went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and two runs scored in the Blue Jays’ 3-1 win over the White Sox on Wednesday.

Advice: Springer has fallen to the lower half of the lineup with Davis Schneider taking over leadoff duties in Toronto, but still managed to score six times with five hits in three games against the White Sox. Let’s see him do this against a different, more competent team before getting excited. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:57 pm

    • Reaches 10-homer mark
Perez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an RBI double and two total runs scored in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Twins.

Advice: Perez has hit safely in five straight games, going 6-for-21 (.286) in that span. The homer was his first since May 20 and his 10th of the year. He also crossed the 40-RBI mark Wednesday, getting him past halfway to matching his total of 80 RBI over 140 contests last year. The catcher is slashing .325/.386/.537 through 55 games in 2024. • Goes deep in loss
Happ went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and two total RBI in Wednesday's 10-6 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Happ is 5-for-15 over his last four games, and three of those hits have left the yard. The outfielder had only two home runs across 47 games before this recent hot streak, but he blasted 20 or more long balls in two of the last three seasons, so it wouldn't be surprising to see his power production continue to trend upward.
