Bassitt allows two earned runs in loss to Red Sox
Chris Bassitt allowed two earned runs over six innings in Tuesday’s loss to the Red Sox.
Advice: Despite allowing nine baserunners on the evening, Bassitt managed to hold the Red Sox to just two earned runs, and pitched out of a jam with runners on to close out the sixth inning. The veteran righty continues to be a solid option in the middle of the Jays’ rotation, and has allowed just four earned runs over 18 innings in the month of June. Bassitt will get another crack at the Red Sox in his next start on Monday.
