      Advice: After allowing just one run through his first two starts of the year, Lodolo struggled a bit Monday though he'd ultimately put together a respectable effort against a potent Philadelphia offense as the Reds rallied for a comeback win.       Max Scherzer looked a bit rusty in his first minor league rehab start at Triple-A Round Rock on Wednesday, giving up three runs on five hits over 2 1/3 innings of work.

      Advice: The 39-year-old right-hander struck out four batters in the contest and didn’t issue a base on balls. Two of the three runs scored against him came on solo home runs — off the bats of Jason Martin and Cole Tucker. Scherzer threw a total of 52 pitches in the ballgame, 32 of those for strikes. All that really matters is that he made it through the start healthy. He sparked Miami’s ninth-inning rally against Braves stopper Raisel Iglesias with a leadoff single to cap off a three-hit effort.
