    Eugenio Suárez went 2-for-3 with three runs scored in a blowout win for the Diamondbacks on Friday over the Giants.

    Advice: Suárez also drew three walks, so it’s a five-reach game for the 32-year-old veteran. He also drove in a run with a single in the ninth inning to give Arizona a 16-1 lead. Still counts. In his first season with the Diamondbacks, Suárez is now slashing a less-than-spectacular .240/.314/.360, but this did break up a 1-for-17 scuffle over his previous five games.     Justin Turner homered and drove in two runs in a 5-1 victory for the Blue Jays on Friday over the Padres.

    Advice: Turner got the scoring started for the Jays with a solo homer off Matt Waldron with two outs in the first. The 39-year-old added another RBI with a single in the second to extend the lead for Toronto to 5-0.     Bohm went 2-for-4 with a pair of three-run homers in Friday's 7-0 victory over the White Sox.

    Advice: Bohm drove in six of the Phillies' seven runs Friday, launching three-run homers off Garrett Crochet in the first and third innings. It was quite a performance from the 27-year-old Bohm, who came into the day with just one homer on the year while going 3-for-17 in his previous six contests.   • Tyler Freeman hits two-run homer against A’s
    Tyler Freeman went 2-for-4 and hit a two-run homer against the A’s on Friday.

    Advice: The homer was about as light as homers get; it left Freeman’s bat at 89.5 mph and was projected at 331 feet. Statcast says it wouldn’t have been a homer anywhere else. Freeman, though, deserved the break, considering he entered the night with an xBA that was 50 points higher than his actual .192 average.     Advice: De La Cruz turned a two-out single into the Reds' first run in the second inning, stealing second base before swiping third and scoring on an errant throw. The 22-year-old shortstop would add a third stolen base in the fourth before breaking the game open with a three-run homer off Jose Cisnero in the eighth. De La Cruz has lived up to expectations early this year -- he's now slashing .290/.364/.638 with six homers, 18 runs scored and 14 RBI while going 10-for-12 in stolen base attempts.   • Alec Bohm hits two three-run homers in victory
    Alec Bohm hit a pair of three-run homers Friday against the White Sox.

    Advice: That’s a great night, but his pitcher overshadowed him with a no-hit bid and then Travis d’Arnaud had to go and hit three homers (at least). Both of Bohm’s homers came off Garrett Crochet. The first was a 353-foot shot that Statcast says would have been out of two ballparks, but it doesn’t count for any less.     Elly De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and three stolen bases Friday against the Angels.

    Advice: The astonishing thing isn’t that De La Cruz has six homers and 10 steals already; that was always a possibility. No, what’s stunning is that he’s still batting sixth! Reds manager David Bell hit him second all spring, surprised everyone by dropping him to sixth on Opening Day and has since refused to budge, even though De La Cruz has been the Reds’ best hitter in batting .290/.364/.638.
