    • Moves to field
Langford started in left field and went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 6-1 win over Arizona.

Advice: This was Langford's second game back from a stint on the injured list due to a hamstring injury. He played his first game in the field after returning as the DH on Tuesday. With Evan Carter (back) on the injured list, Langford is in line for near-everyday work in left field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:57 am

    • Francisco Lindor reaches twice in loss to Dodgers
Francisco Lindor went 1-for-4 with a run scored on Wednesday in the Mets’ loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Lindor showed zero ill effects, reaching base safely in two of his four plate appearances less than 24 hours after suffering a left index finger contusion during Tuesday’s doubleheader. It doesn’t appear that he’s going to wind up missing any time moving forward. Rotoworld Wednesday, 5:29 pm
    • Homers again Wednesday
Gorman went 2-for-5 with a solo homer, an RBI double and two total runs scored in Wednesday's 5-3 win over Cincinnati.

Advice: Gorman extended the Cardinals' lead to 2-0 with an RBI double in the fourth inning before launching a home run off left-hander Brent Suter in the eighth, his 10th long ball of the year and second in as many games. After a sluggish start to the year, Gorman's started to turn things around, going 8-for-21 (.380) with seven RBI in his last six contests. He's boosted his slash line to .220/.308/.451 with 25 RBI, 23 runs scored and two stolen bases through 185 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 5:06 pm

    • Wyatt Langford delivers RBI single in victory
Wyatt Langford went 2-for-4 with an RBI single on Wednesday in the Rangers’ win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Welcome back, Wyatt. After going 0-for-3 on Tuesday in his return from the injured list following a three-week absence recovering from a hamstring strain, Langford extended the Rangers’ late lead with an eighth-inning RBI single to left field to pick up his 12th RBI of the season. The 22-year-old top prospect represents an excellent buy-low target for fantasy managers in re-draft formats given his immense raw talent and everyday opportunity as part of Texas’ loaded lineup. • Nolan Gorman goes 2-for-5, homers versus Reds
Nolan Gorman went 2-for-5 with a homer versus the Reds in Wednesday’s win.

Advice: The homer appeared to have no shot of exiting as it left his bat, but it kept carrying a projected 378 feet. It was Gorman’s 10th homer of the year. Five of those have come in his last 10 games. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:40 pm

    • ‘Banged-up’ Semien sits for first time since 2022
A “banged up” Marcus Semien is out of the Rangers lineup Wednesday for the first time since May 12, 2022.

Advice: Semien has been playing at less than 100 percent after colliding with Adolis García in left field on May 18 and is just 4-for-33 at the plate in eight games since the incident. The Rangers are off Thursday and are hoping that a two-day break will help. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:48 am

    • Lengthy starting streak ends
Semien is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Semien will get a day off for the first time since May 12, 2022, ending a streak of 349 consecutive regular-season starts. Though Semien isn't nursing a new injury, manager Bruce Bochy told Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News that the 33-year-old will be getting a couple days of rest -- Texas is off Thursday -- before returning to the lineup Friday in Miami since he's been playing a little banged up after he was involved in a collision in the outfield with teammate Adolis Garcia in a May 18 game. Ezequiel Duran will step in at second base in Semien's stead Wednesday, while designated hitter Travis Jankowski takes over Semien's spot atop the batting order. • Taking seat Wednesday
Moreno is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Rangers.

Advice: Moreno started the last two contests at catcher but will get a breather for Wednesday's afternoon game. Tucker Barnhart and Ryne Nelson will form the Diamondbacks' battery. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:26 am
    • Starts at DH in return
Langford served as the designated hitter and went 0-for-3 in Tuesday's 4-2 win over Arizona.

Advice: Langford was activated from the 10-day injured list and played for the first time since May 4. His activation to the roster came at the expense of left fielder Evan Carter (back), who went on the IL, but Langford was eased in as the DH while Travis Jankowski handled left field.
