    • Steals home in win
Garcia went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Giants.

Advice: Garcia stole home as part of a double-steal in the first inning, the third time he's stolen home in his career. It was his fifth theft of the season. The slugger has been grinding at the dish; his first-inning single snapped an 0-for-16 run. For the season, Garcia is batting just .217 with a career-low .699 OPS through 62 games. • Allows three runs Sunday
Gil did not factor into the decision in Sunday's loss to the Dodgers, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk while striking out five in 5.2 innings.

Advice: Gil held the Dodgers in check through the first four innings, but the broke through in the fifth on a two-run double from Mookie Betts. Teoscar Hernandez would add to that with a solo home run in the sixth, leading to Gil's exit. Sunday was the first time Gil had given up more than one run in a start since he allowed five against the Brewers on April 26. The Yankees are now 11-2 in games started by Gil, and he'll carry a magnificent 2.04 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 90:35 K:BB (75 innings) into a showdown versus the Red Sox over the weekend. • Picks up 18th save
Finnegan earned the save Sunday, striking out one in a perfect inning against Atlanta.

Advice: Finnegan entered in the ninth frame after a Jarred Kelenic blast cut the Washington lead to three and needed only 11 pitches to finish off Atlanta and secure his 18th save in 20 opportunities. Finnegan has contributed 23 scoreless outings over 26 appearances spanning 26 innings this season, lowering his ERA to 1.73 and WHIP to 0.88 with Sunday's effort. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:06 pm
    • Luis Gil gives up three runs in no-decision Sunday
Luis Gil pitched decently in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Sunday night, surrendering three runs on five hits over his 5 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: Gil punched out five batters on the evening while allowing just one base on balls. After keeping the vaunted Dodgers’ offense off the board for the first four innings, they broke through in the fifth on a two-run double by Mookie Betts. They added another in the sixth on a go-ahead solo shot off the bat of Teoscar Hernández. The 26-year-old right-hander got 15 swings and misses on 96 pitches on the night — seven each on his fastball and changeup — while posting a CSW of 26 percent. He’ll bring a terrific 2.04 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and a 90/35 K/BB ratio (75 innings) into Friday’s showdown against the Red Sox at Fenway Park. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:56 pm

    • Goes seven strong to earn win
Eovaldi (3-2) earned the win Sunday, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk over seven innings against the Giants. He struck out five.

Advice: Eovaldi was staked to a 5-0 lead after two and cruised through seven, merely allowing single runs in each of the third and fourth innings as he rolled to his third victory. More importantly, he was also extended to near his full workload, completing seven innings on 90 pitches after tossing 37 and 71 in his previous two starts following a nearly four-week stint on the IL with a groin injury. It was the seventh start out of 10 for Eovaldi with at least five innings while allowing two or fewer runs. He'll carry a 2.68 ERA and 1.09 WHIP into his next start, likely to take place next weekend when the Rangers travel to Seattle for a weekend showdown against the Mariners. • Lourdes Gurriel Jr. drives in two in win over Pads
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. went 2-for-5 with a double and a pair of RBI on Sunday as the Diamondbacks throttled the Padres in San Diego.

Advice: The 30-year-old outfielder smacked a two-run double off of Adam Mazur in the second inning and rode home on Jake McCarthy’s two-run blast. He also singled in the fourth inning and raced around to score on a two-out RBI single by Eugenio Suarez. With his two-hit attack, Gurriel is now hitting .247/.287/.405 with nine homers, 39 RBI and three swipes on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:21 pm
    • Carlos Estévez earns victory against Astros Sunday
Carlos Estévez picked up his first victory of the season on Sunday, working a scoreless ninth inning in a tied game against the Astros.

Advice: The 31-year-old hurler came on to work the top half of the ninth inning after the Angels had rallied to score two runs in the eighth to tie the game. Estevez retired the side in order — including a strikeout of Yainer Diaz — then became the beneficiary when the Angels walked it off in the home half of the inning. On the season, he sports a 4.05 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and a 19/3 K/BB ratio over 20 innings while recording 10 saves in 13 chances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:54 pm
    • Kyle Finnegan gets 18th save in win over ATL
Kyle Finnegan rescued the Nationals with a scoreless inning to secure an 8-5 win over the Braves on Sunday.

Advice: It didn’t seem like the Nationals would need Finnegan after taking an 8-2 lead into the ninth, but Jordan Weems allowed three runs on three hits without recording an out, so the Nationals asked Finnegan to bail them out. He responded by retiring the three batters he faced, including one on a strikeout. He now has 18 saves with a 1.73 ERA on the season and could be a big trade asset for the Nationals at the deadline if they decide to move on from the 32-year-old. The downside for fantasy managers is that he might not be a lock to close, depending on where he gets traded. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:20 pm
    • Eovaldi looks solid in win over Giants
Nathan Eovaldi allowed two runs on five hits in seven innings in a win over the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Eovaldi also struck out five and walked one on the day. He pounded the zone regularly on the day with a 37 percent CSW and 24 percent whiff rate and his only real mistake was a solo home run to Mike Yastrzemski. The veteran will take a 2.68 ERA into a good start against the Mariners next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:30 pm
