    • Hader picks up 12th save against Mets Saturday
      Josh Hader tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Mets on Saturday.

      Harrison (ankle) will throw one more bullpen session before returning from the 15-day injured list during the Giants' six-game road trip that begins Tuesday in Atlanta, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

      Advice: Harrison hasn't seen any game action since June 10 due to a sprained right ankle, but he'll be ready to return to the Giants rotation after completing multiple bullpen sessions. While it's unclear when he'll be slotted to start, the 22-year-old is most likely to pitch during a three-game series in Cleveland next weekend.     • Kyle Harrison unlikely to require rehab start
      Kyle Harrison (ankle) is not expected to require a minor league rehab start before rejoining the Giants’ rotation.

      Advice: Harrison threw a bullpen session without issue on Friday. He’ll repeat the process again in a few days and if all goes well it sounds like he’ll be cleared to rejoin the Giants’ rotation.       Estevez threw a perfect ninth inning to earn a save over Detroit on Friday.

      Advice: Estevez needed only nine pitches to sit down the heart of the Tigers' lineup in order. He's up to 16 saves on the year and has converted 10 straight chances. Since blowing his last save May 10, Estevez has given up just one earned run over 14.1 innings. He's lowered his season ERA to 3.12 with an impressive 27:3 K:BB through 26 appearances.     • Carlos Estévez picks up 16th save of year vs. DET
      Carlos Estévez didn’t give up a hit while qualifying for a save against the Tigers on Friday.

      Advice: Estévez didn’t give up a hit, didn’t strike anyone out and didn’t issue a walk. He didn’t really have a chance to do any of those things as the Tigers made him throw only nine pitches; eight of those landing for strikes.       McArthur pitched a perfect ninth inning and picked up the save over the Guardians on Thursday.

      Advice: McArthur entered the game with a one-run lead in the ninth and needed only eight pitches to retire the side for his 14th save of the season. The right-hander has been very reliable as of late, hurling a perfect inning in each of his last three appearances while lowering his June ERA to 2.00. On the downside, McArthur has managed just a 4:4 K:BB this month over 10 appearances (nine innings) and hasn't recorded a strikeout in either of his last two outings.     • Season-high six walks in win
      Abbott (7-6) picked up the win over the Cardinals on Thursday, allowing two runs on two hits and six walks over five innings while striking out two.

      Advice: The only runs charged to Abbott on the night came on a two-run homer from Nolan Arenado in the bottom of the third, as the lefty managed to pitch his way out of trouble the rest of the time despite issuing a season-high six free passes. Abbott has now won four of his last five starts, though he finishes the month of June with 15 walks, compared to just six in May.     • Shelled by Baltimore
      Gray (3-4) took the loss against the Orioles on Thursday, allowing eight runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out one batter over five innings.

      Advice: Gray fell behind 3-0 after one inning and 6-0 after three, and by the time he exited after five frames Texas was down 8-1. The right hander notched just two whiffs among his 73 pitches and recorded a season-low one punchout. Gray pitched well in registering six scoreless innings his previous time on the mound, but he surrendered nine runs over three frames in the start before that, so he's difficult for fantasy managers to gauge right now.     • Abbott allows two runs in win Thursday
      Andrew Abbott allowed two runs in five innings and got the win in the Reds’ 11-4 victory over the Cardinals on Thursday.



      Advice: Abbott gave up two hits, walked six and struck out two. Abbott wasn’t sharp as the six walks were a season-high, but the Reds scored 10 runs while he was in the game and he was able to grind out five innings to earn his seventh win of the season. Abbott has won four of his last five starts and has a 3.41 ERA on the year. The 25-year-old left-hander is set to face the Yankees on the road next week.
