    • Swipes second bag
Robert went 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base Wednesday against the White Sox.

Advice: Robert has popped five home runs in 14 games since returning from the injured list, but he's otherwise been a poor source of fantasy value. He has a 39.3 percent strikeout in that span and is hitting just .184. Positively, Robert did swipe his first base since returning and his second of the season. Rotowire.com 20 minutes ago

    • Takes fifth loss
Ragans (4-5) allowed two runs on four hits and four walks while striking out seven over six innings to take the loss Wednesday versus the Athletics.

Advice: Ragans rattled off his fourth straight quality start, but he's still winless over his last five outings. The four walks were a season high for the southpaw, but it was still a decent performance for him despite the end result. He's maintained a 3.13 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 109:30 K:BB through 92 innings over 16 starts this season. Ragans is projected to make his next start at home versus the Marlins in a favorable matchup. • Cole Ragans strikes out seven in loss to A’s
Cole Ragans allowed two runs with seven strikeouts over six innings in a loss to the Athletics on Wednesday.

Advice: Ragans worked around three hits through two scoreless innings before the A’s brought a pair of runs in to score on two walks and two singles in the third. Ragans settled in to toss three more scoreless innings, striking out seven before his day was done. He took the loss as the Royals scored just one run in the contest. The 26-year-old left-hander will take a 3.13 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and a 109/30 K/BB ratio across 92 innings into a start against the Marlins in Kansas City on Monday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:22 pm

    • Blows save, picks up fifth win
Kimbrel (5-2) earned the win and blew a save against the Yankees on Wednesday, allowing one run on two hits with a strikeout in the ninth inning.

Advice: Kimbrel was called upon to protect a 5-4 lead in the ninth inning but allowed a leadoff double by Anthony Volpe and a game-tying single by Giancarlo Stanton. He was able to keep the game tied and the Yankees won in the 10th inning to earn Kimbrel the win. Until Wednesday, Kimbrel had not allowed an earned run since May 8 or blown a save since April 28. On the season Kimbrel is now 16-for-20 in save chances and owns a 2.63 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 39:11 K:BB over 27.1 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:10 pm
    • Craig Kimbrel blows save against Yankees
Craig Kimbrel allowed one run on two hits on Wednesday. He struck out one, blew the save, but wound up grabbing the win.

Advice: Kimbrel let the Yankees tie the game after a lead-off double by Anthony Volpe and single by Giancarlo Stanton. This was his fourth blown save while still sporting a 2.63 ERA. Dillon Tate closed this one out for Baltimore in the 10th inning. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:16 pm
    • Yordan Alvarez remains out of lineup on Wednesday
Yordan Alvarez (family matter) remains out of the Astros’ starting lineup on Wednesday.

Advice: The 26-year-old slugger missed Tuesday’s game due to a family matter and is still away from the club on Wednesday. Yainer Diaz will function as the team’s designated hitter and cleanup hitter on Wednesday while Victor Caratini starts behind the dish against Garrett Crochet and the White Sox. • Remaining out Wednesday
Alvarez (personal) isn't in the Astros' lineup Wednesday versus the White Sox, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Advice: Alvarez will miss his second game in a row Wednesday as he continues to tend to a family matter, and he remains day-to-day. His absence will move Yainer Diaz into the DH spot while Victor Caratini starts behind the plate. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:15 pm

    • Tarik Skubal gives up two homers in loss to Braves
Tarik Skubal surrendered five runs — four earned — in four innings Wednesday in a loss to the Braves.

Advice: Skubal struck out seven and gave up only five hard-hit balls. Unfortunately, two of those hard-hit balls went 426 and 407 feet, as Skubal allowed two homers for just the second time this season. It’s the fourth time this season that he’s allowed exactly four earned runs. He’s given up a total of nine earned runs in his other 11 outings. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:31 pm

    • Takes second straight loss
Skubal (8-3) took the loss Wednesday against Atlanta, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: Most of the damage against Skubal came via the long ball Wednesday -- he gave up a two-run homer to Sean Murphy in the third inning before Ramon Laureano tacked on a solo shot in the fourth. The 27-year-old Skubal has now lost back-to-back starts for the first time this season -- he's given up eight earned runs over 10.1 innings in that span. The left-hander still sports a solid 2.50 ERA on the year with a 0.97 WHIP and 105:18 K:BB across 90 innings. Skubal is lined up for another tough matchup next week at home versus the Phillies.
