    • Ronel Blanco returns with stellar start in win
Ronel Blanco allowed just one run on four hits in seven innings in a win over the A’s on Sunday.

Advice: Blanco struck out six and walked one, allowing just a solo home run to Max Schuemann in his outing. He induced 17 whiffs for a 31 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW. He got right back to doing what he was doing after his controversial suspension, and he now has a 1.99 ERA on the season to go along with a 5-0 record. He has a tougher test against the Twins next week but should be started against pretty much every offense right now while he’s pitching like this. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:05 pm

    • Ronel Blanco reinstated for start against A’s
      Astros activated RHP Ronel Blanco.

Advice: Blanco was suspended for 10 games after being detected for a foreign substance on his glove He’ll get the start Sunday against the Athletics for the series finale. He should be activated from fantasy lineups for that outing. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:03 am

    • Back from suspension, starting Sunday
Blanco (suspension) was reinstated to the Astros' 26-man active roster Sunday and will start Houston's series finale versus the Athletics in Oakland.

Advice: As had been reported days earlier, Blanco will immediately slot back into the Houston rotation now that he's completed his 10-game ban after he was deemed to have used a foreign substance during his most recent start May 14, also versus Oakland. Assuming Blanco was able to stay fully ramped up while he was serving his suspension, he shouldn't face many restrictions when he takes the hill Sunday. Blanco has been a revelation for the Astros this season, compiling a 4-0 record, 2.09 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 45:21 K:BB in 47.1 innings across eight starts. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:51 am

    • Fares well in road start
Nola allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings in a no-decision versus the Rockies on Saturday.

Advice: Nola turned in his third straight quality start, which was his seventh such outing this year. He left the game on the hook for the loss, but the Phillies rallied ahead in the ninth inning. Nola has allowed six runs (four earned) over his last 22 innings, giving him a 3.04 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 65:20 K:BB through 71 innings across 11 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start at home versus the Cardinals. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:05 pm

    • Nola strikes out five in no-decision Saturday
Aaron Nola allowed three runs (two earned) in six innings and got a no-decision in the Phillies’ 8-4 victory over the Rockies on Saturday.

Advice: Nola pitched fairly well, but left the game with a 3-2 deficit so he didn’t qualify for the win in this one. He had won his previous two starts. Nola allowed five hits, two walks and struck out five. His ERA is now 3.04 on the season. The 30-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cardinals at home next week.

    • Lasts just 4.2 innings
Lopez (2-2) took the loss Saturday in Pittsburgh, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and one walk over just 4.2 innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Saturday marked the right-hander's shortest outing of the season and also his fewest number of pitches thrown (70) in a start this year. Lopez labored a bit in the third and fourth frames, and Atlanta manager Brian Snitker elected to pull his starter after he yielded a two-out single in the fifth. The righty hasn't won a game since April 16 even as he still holds a 2.43 ERA since that date. Rotowire.com Saturday, 5:57 pm

    • Reynaldo López gives up three over 4 2/3 vs. Pirates
Reynaldo López went 4 2/3 innings and gave up three runs — two earned — in a start Saturday against the Pirates.

Advice: Lopez gave up five hits with one walk while striking out three. The right-hander allowed an RBI single in the third, and two more runs scored on a Nick Gonzales double. Even with a shaky outing, the 30-year-old still has a sensational 1.75 ERA on the season. He’s scheduled to fact the Nationals at home Thursday. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:42 pm

    • Tough-luck loss Saturday
Berrios (5-4) took the loss Saturday, allowing two runs on seven hits over seven innings as the Blue Jays fell 2-1 to the Tigers. He struck out five without walking a batter.

Advice: The right-hander was sharp, generating 28 called or swinging strikes among an efficient 83 pitches, but a two-run homer by Kerry Carpenter in the first inning proved to be the difference as Toronto's bats had little success against Reese Olson. The quality start was the third straight for Berrios and his ninth in 11 outings this season, and he'll take a 2.94 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 53:18 K:BB through 67.1 innings into his next start, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Pirates. • José Berríos pitches well in loss to Tigers
José Berríos allowed two runs with five strikeouts over seven innings in a loss to the Tigers on Saturday.

Advice: Berríos lone mistake came in the first inning. He gave up a two-out double before Kerry Carpenter took him deep for a two-run homer to give the Tigers the early lead. Berríos settled in for six more scoreless frames, striking out five. He’d take the loss without any run support. The 29-year-old right-hander ends the day with an outstanding 2.94 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and a 53/18 K/BB ratio across 67 1/3 innings. He’ll take on the Pirates in Toronto on Friday.
