    Advice: The 25-year-old outfielder will get a rare breather with left-hander Jordan Montgomery taking the mound for the Diamondbacks. Lee has gotten off to a nice start in his first season stateside, hitting .282/.326/.346 with a homer, five RBI and two stolen bases through his first 19 games. The Cardinals still have not set a timeline for the 25-year-old's return, but he will almost certainly have to embark on a rehab assignment before he makes his season debut.     Gipson-Long is set to undergo Tommy John surgery Monday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

    Advice: After having multiple doctors examine his elbow, the decision has been made for Gipson-Long to get UCL reconstruction on his right elbow. The right-hander started the season on the 15-day IL with a groin injury, and he was progressing in his rehab assignment before experiencing right forearm tightness.     Advice: A left calf strain has kept Staumont on the sideline since Opening Day. He made three rehab appearances at St. Paul and will remain with the Saints after allowing three runs across 3.2 innings, though he could return to the majors if the Twins find themselves in need of a fresh bullpen arm later in the season.     Advice: Nelson sustained the injury during Thursday’s start against the Giants after he was drilled in the elbow by a line drive off the bat of Mike Yastrzemski. He’ll miss at least a couple of weeks while recovering from the injury.
