• Heston Kjerstad connects for eighth homer at AAA
Orioles OF prospect Heston Kjerstad went 3-for-3 with a solo homer and also stole a base on Thursday for Triple-A Norfolk.

Advice: It’s early, but Kjerstad continues to tear the cover off the ball this season. The 25-year-old slugger is up to eight round-trippers through 18 games for Triple-A Norfolk and boasts a stratospheric 1.151 OPS to date. Rotoworld Today, 6:18 pm
  • Everson Pereira homers twice on Thursday at AAA
Yankees OF prospect Everson Pereira went 3-for-4 with two homers and four RBI on Thursday for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Advice: Pereira struggled last year in a brief 14-game cameo with the Yankees, but has always flashed some big-time power upside. The 23-year-old outfielder still needs to curb his propensity to swing and miss if he’s going to make an impact at the highest level. He certainly looks like a Quad-A masher at the moment, but could easily make the leap into a quality big-league contributor if his plate skills take a step forward. Rotoworld Today, 6:16 pm
  • Triple, stolen base vs. Guardians
Duran went 1-for-4 with a two-run triple, two runs scored and a stolen base in Thursday's 5-4 loss to Cleveland.

Advice: Duran drew a walk to lead off the home half of the first inning before swiping his seventh bag of the year. The speedy outfielder would then drive in a pair of runs with a triple in the sixth inning, his first three-bagger this season. Duran is now 5-for-17 with three extra-base hits in his last four contests. He's off to a nice start following a promising 2023 campaign, slashing .301/.366/.422 with a home run, 12 runs scored and nine RBI through his first 20 games. Rotowire.com Today, 5:53 pm

  • Homers Thursday
Garcia went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Thursday's 9-7 win over Detroit.

Advice: Garcia put the Rangers ahead 5-4 in the third inning, blasting a solo shot off Kenta Maeda, his fifth of the year. Garcia had cooled off a bit after a torrid start this season, going 2-for-12 in four games prior to Thursday's contest. The 31-year-old outfielder is now slashing .311/.361/.568 with 18 RBI, 14 runs scored and four steals through his first 20 games on the campaign. Rotowire.com Today, 5:45 pm

  • Reaches four times Thursday
Canha went 2-for-3 with two walks, an RBI and a run scored in Thursday's 9-7 loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Canha continues to provide steady production for the Tigers, as he has an .837 OPS across 18 games. The veteran outfielder recorded a .755 OPS last season and he's actually only finished above .800 once during his career, which came back in 2019 when he posted a .913 OPS and hit a career-high 26 home runs with the Athletics. Even if he slips into the .700 range, Canha should remain a solid if not spectacular fantasy asset. Rotowire.com Today, 5:05 pm

  • Tallies two extra-base hits
Greene went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a triple, an RBI and two runs scored in Thursday's 9-7 loss to the Rangers.

Advice: While Greene's batting average is still a bit underwhelming at .239, his .849 OPS is stronger due to eight extra-base knocks through 19 games. In fact, exactly half of the outfielder's hits have gone for extra bases so far. Greene is heating up, and with his ability to leg out doubles or hit the ball over the wall, he should be primed for good numbers the rest of the way. Rotowire.com Today, 4:56 pm

Advice: Mastrobuoni was able to crack the Opening Day roster with Patrick Wisdom on the injured list before the season began. He appeared in just eight games and only reached base once on a walk across 13 plate appearances. In a corresponding move, Patrick Wisdom was activated from the 10-day injured list. During the assignment, the 32-year-old appeared in nine games and went 11-for-27 with three home runs across 36 plate appearances. • Cubs activate Patrick Wisdom for Friday return
Cubs activated INF Patrick Wisdom from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Wisdom rejoins Chicago’s crowded infield mix ahead of Friday’s series opener against the Marlins after missing the first three weeks of the season recovering from a back strain that he suffered during spring training. He figures to split time at the hot corner with Christopher Morel since Michael Busch has gotten off to such a strong start over at first base. Rotoworld Today, 3:45 pm
