      Advice: Snell had tossed 4.2 innings of one-run ball while striking seven batters, but he was forced to exit with the bases loaded in the top of the fifth inning. The left-hander had already thrown 99 pitches in the contest, so he was likely facing his final batter of the game anyway. Reliever Erik Miller surrendered a two-run double to Alex Verdugo when he entered the contest, tacking on two more earned runs to Snell's line.       Blake Snell was removed from Sunday’s start against the Yankees in the fifth inning due to an apparent injury.

      Advice: It’s still unclear exactly what happened here, but with two outs in the fifth inning Snell received a visit from manager Bob Melvin, the pitching coach and the training staff — after which the decision was made to pull him from the game. To add insult to injury, Erik Miller came on and allowed a two-run single that plated a pair of Snell’s runners. Ultimately, he was charged with three runs on five hits and three walks over his 4 2/3 innings of work while striking out seven batters. Expect the Giants to provide an update on his status shortly.       Jackson Chourio went 2-for-4 with a home run on three RBI in a 6-3 win over the White Sox on Sunday.

      Advice: Chourio got the Brewers on the board in the second inning by socking a three-run home run 385 feet at 102.5 mph off the bat. It was his sixth home run of the season, and he now has 19 RBI on the year. Chourio has an elevated strikeout rate which has helped keep his batting average down, but he has shown a fantasy-friendly profile with the six home runs and seven steals.       José Caballero went 2-for-3 with a homer Sunday as the Rays edged the Orioles 4-3.

      Advice: Caballero has been a strikeout machine of late, but he managed to go without one for just the second time in 18 games today. He’s batting .260/.318/.370 on the season, but it just doesn’t seem likely that he’ll keep his average up like this with how often he fails to make contact.       Pete Fairbanks worked a scoreless ninth and earned a save Sunday against the Orioles.

      Cedric Mullins went 0-for-4 before being lifted for a pinch-hitter Sunday versus the Rays.

      Advice: It says a lot that the Orioles hit for Mullins against a righty. The team hoped he was breaking out of his slump a couple of weeks ago, but he’s 1-for-20 with a 7/0 K/BB ratio since May 24, dropping his season line to .181/.225/.319. He’s a tough guy to drop in fantasy leagues, since he can be very valuable when he’s on (he just had six homers and six steals in April), but this is ugly right now.       Adolis García went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in a win over the Marlins on Sunday.

      Advice: García took a sixth-inning offering from Trevor Rogers and hit it 395 feet at 108.2 mph for his 13th home run on the season. He also added an RBI earlier in the game and now has 40 RBI on the year, which has helped prop up a disappointing .231/.285/.462 slash line. As a free-swinger, García has always seemed at risk for batting average regression, and it’s possible he won’t match last year’s .245 batting average, but the power remains a true asset.
