    • Belts fifth long ball in victory
Conforto went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run Monday in a 5-2 win against the Mets.

Advice: Conforto scored San Francisco's first run after singling in the second inning, and he accounted for the team's final tally with a solo shot to right field in the sixth. The performance snapped a nine-game stretch during which the veteran batted just .171 and failed to register a multi-hit effort. Despite that cold snap, Conforto has started the season well, posting a .271/.311/.506 slash line with five homers, 16 RBI and 13 runs through 90 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:44 pm
    • Collects three hits
Cruz went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI on Monday against the Brewers.

Advice: Cruz hit eighth in the order for the third straight game against a right-handed pitcher as the Pirates seek to get him on track at the plate. He showed some reasons for optimism with his three-hit performance, highlighted by a two-RBI single in the sixth inning that gave the team some insurance runs. Most importantly, Cruz struck out only once after punching out multiple times in seven of his previous 10 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:07 pm

    • Struggling of late
McMahon went 0-for-3 with an RBI on Monday against the Padres.

Advice: McMahon recorded four hits April 12, but he has only five hits across 38 plate appearances since. He's also struck out at 39.5 percent clip in that span while tallying two RBI and two runs scored. Even with that stretch, McMahon has a .314 average across 100 plate appearances. • Travis d’Arnaud’s homer lifts Braves over Marlins
Travis d’Arnaud went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in the sixth inning to help lead the Braves over the Marlins, 3-0 on Monday.

Advice: d’Arnaud’s two-run shot was a huge lift for Atlanta who finished the game 1-for-5 with runners in scoring position. The 35-year-old backstop now has five home runs in his past four games, with three of them coming in one game against the Rangers on Saturday. d’Arnaud is putting together a career-best .980 OPS and 14 RBI in his 18 games played this season. • Extends scoreless streak in win
Suarez (4-0) earned the victory Monday, allowing two hits and one walk over seven scoreless innings against the Reds. He struck out five.

Advice: Suarez rang up nothing but zeroes for the third-consecutive start, allowing only two singles and a walk in a dominating performance against the Reds. The Phillies' southpaw earned his league-leading fourth win while extending his scoreless inning streak to 25.1 innings. The outing dropped his ERA to 1.36 with a 0.70 WHIP through 33 innings with 32 strikeouts against just five bases on balls. Next up for Suarez is a road matchup, tentatively scheduled to take place this weekend in San Diego against the Padres. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:02 pm
    • Handed first loss
Singer (2-1) allowed five runs on five hits and three walks over six innings Monday, striking out five and taking a loss against Toronto.

Advice: After giving up just four runs through his first four starts, Singer stumbled Monday and found himself in the loss column for the first time. He allowed a three-run double to Bo Bichette in the third inning and a two-run shot to Daulton Varsho in the sixth. After fanning 10 batters in his season debut, Singer has produced a lackluster 18:9 K:BB over his last 22.1 frames. Still, he'll carry a 2.76 ERA into his next start, which is projected to be in Detroit this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:50 pm
    • Goes yard again
      D'Arnaud went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Monday's win over Miami.

Advice: D'Arnaud knocked a 365-foot home run off Ryan Weathers in the fourth inning to give him his fifth homer in four games. The recent hot stretch is a welcome sight for the veteran catcher as he was previously slashing .200/.250/.311 over 48 plate appearances. D'Arnaud should continue garnering the majority of playing time in Atlanta until Sean Murphy (oblique) returns. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:47 pm
    • Oneil Cruz knocks in two in win against Brewers
Oneil Cruz went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Monday’s 4-2 win against the Brewers.

Advice: Cruz had his first game without a strikeout since April 9 and made sure to capitalize with his second three-hit game of the season. The 25-year-old shortstop hasn’t put together a great start to the season but it was encouraging to see him get back on track. His two RBI came in the sixth inning when he hit a blooper into shallow left field off Hoby Milner that scored Connor Joe and Jack Suwinski to extends the Bucs’ lead. • Brady Singer gives up five runs Monday in loss
Brady Singer surrendered five runs over six innings on Monday in a loss to the Blue Jays.

Advice: Singer gave up just five hits, but a three-run triple by Bo Bichette and a two-run homer from Daulton Varsho were enough to saddle him with a loss in this one. He struck out five and also walked three batters. The 27-year-old righty had allowed two earned runs or fewer in each of his previous four starts to open the season. He’ll bring a solid 2.76 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 28/10 K/BB ratio across 29 1/3 innings (five starts) into a road tilt on Saturday against the Tigers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:16 pm
