    • Picks up pair of thefts in win
Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-3 with a walk and two stolen bases Saturday in a 7-5 win against the Reds.

Advice: Crow-Armstrong made the most of his two trips on the basepaths by swiping a bag in each instance. This was his third game since being recalled from the minors Thursday. While Crow-Armstrong has posted a modest .250/.310/.359 slash line with just one homer over 26 contests in the majors this year, he's shown off his speed with seven steals in seven attempts. • Surrenders five runs Saturday
Greene allowed five runs on three hits and five walks while striking out five batters over six innings in a no-decision against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: Greene was staked to an early 4-0 lead but gave it all back when he served up a grand slam to Seiya Suzuki in the bottom of the second inning. All three runners on base for the big homer had reached via walk, so Greene's wildness played a big part in his poor stat line. This was the second time the right-hander has walked five batters in a contest this season, and his 30 free passes on the campaign are fourth-most in the majors. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:16 pm

    • Racks up three hits
Pages went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Pages is starting to get things figured out in the majors with three multi-hit efforts over his last four games. That surge has gotten the rookie outfielder back up to a .257 batting average, though his .685 OPS on the year remains middling. He's added five home runs, 17 RBI, 24 runs scored and a stolen base over 40 contests. Pages continues to see a starting role in center field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:08 pm

    • Greene gives up grand slam, five runs vs. Cubs
Hunter Greene allowed five runs in six innings and got a no-decision against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: Greene gave up three hits, walked five and struck out five. He had won two of his previous three starts and hadn’t allowed more than three earned runs in his last six starts. Greene only allowed three hits but one of them was a grand slam off the bat of Seiya Suzuki. His ERA is up to 3.44 on the season now. He’ll get another chance against the Cubs at home next week.

    • Set for rehab assignment
Poche (back) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham on Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Poche's last documented activity was May 22, when he threw a 15-pitch bullpen session. He'll likely only need a couple of appearances in Durham before being activated. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:47 pm

    • Two-run homer in loss
Alonso went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 10-5 loss to the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

Advice: Alonso doubled in the first then hit a two-run home run in the ninth off Brandon Hughes. While the game was out of reach, the homer was Alonso's 13th of the year and resulted in his third multi-hit effort in his past nine games. On the season, Alonso is now slashing .239/.315/.477 with 13 home runs and 29 RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:26 pm

Pete Alonso went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a walk against the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

Advice: Alonso cut into the D-backs’ lead with a two-run homer in the ninth inning, before the Mets ultimately fell short of the comeback. The 29-year-old slugger is up to 13 homers with 29 RBI while slashing.239/.315/.477 across 248 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:30 pm

    • Cooper Criswell holds Detroit to one run in win
Cooper Criswell allowed one run with five strikeouts over five innings in a win over the Tigers on Saturday.

Advice: A double and a base hit in the first inning put the Tigers on the board with one run. Criswell would settle in to give the Red Sox four more scoreless frames, scattering two more hits and a walk while striking out five batters. The 27-year-old right-hander ends the day with a 3.92 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and a 41/10 K/BB ratio across 43 2/3 innings. He’s in line for a start against the White Sox on Friday. • Sitting Saturday
O'Hoppe is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Mariners, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Advice: O'Hoppe will get a breather after he went 2-for-15 with two solo home runs and three runs scored while starting the last four contests. Matt Thaiss will draw the start at catcher and bat sixth against Seattle. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:08 pm
