• My Sharona: Landon Knack gets first win in blowout
Landon Knack allowed two runs over six innings on Wednesday against the Nationals to collect his first career win.

Advice: Knack limited Washington’s offense to just three hits, including a second-inning solo shot by Nick Senzel, and got plenty of support from Los Angeles’ lineup to cruise to the first victory of his career. He finished with five strikeouts and only issued three walks. The 26-year-old top pitching prospect holds a strong 3.27 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 9/4 K/BB ratio across 11 innings (two starts) so far. He’ll presumably take the ball on either Monday or Tuesday against the Diamondbacks in his next outing. Rotoworld 5 minutes ago

  • Crikey: Dodgers tag Irvin for six runs in loss
Jake Irvin was torched for a season-high six runs over 4 2/3 innings on Wednesday in a loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Irvin was unable to flummox the Dodgers’ star-studded lineup for the second straight start, getting tagged for a staggering 12 hits over 4 2/3 frames, after spinning six shutout frames last week out in Los Angeles. Amazingly, none of the dozen hits wound up leaving the yard, but it was enough to saddle him with a loss in a one-sided affair. He struck out three and only issued one walk. He’ll bring a pedestrian 4.55 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 23/7 K/BB ratio across 27 2/3 innings (five starts) into a favorable matchup on Monday against the Marlins. It’s a nice spot for streaming purposes, which gives him some appeal for fantasy managers in deeper mixed leagues. Rotoworld 5 minutes ago

  • Andy Pages homers in Dodgers’ victory over Nats
Andy Pages went 3-for-5 with a solo homer on Wednesday, powering the Nationals to an 11-2 blowout victory over the Nationals.

Advice: Pages has started to find his footing in the big leagues with a pair of multi-homer performances, including a pair of homers, in his last three contests. The 23-year-old top prospect put together an impressive three-hit performance in this one, sparking Los Angeles to a lopsided win at Nationals Park. He took veteran reliever Tanner Rainey deep in the eighth inning with a no-doubter to left field for his second career homer. He boasts a robust .903 OPS through seven games in the majors and figures to continue playing regularly, at least until Jason Heyward is ready to return from the injured list in a couple weeks. • Shohei Ohtani raises average to .371 in blowout
Shohei Ohtani went 3-for-6 with a pair of RBI on Wednesday in the Dodgers’ blowout win over the Nationals.

Advice: We’re running out of superlatives to describe Ohtani’s exploits. He doubled three times in the one-sided affair, including a pair of runs-scoring knocks in the eighth and ninth innings, respectively, to raise his batting average to an astronomical .371 (39-for-105) in the process. The 29-year-old two-way fantasy superstar has put together an unbelievable Dodgers debut so far with a 1.128 OPS to go along with 22 runs scored, six homers, 16 RBI and five steals through 26 games. • Connor Wong goes 4-for-4, homers twice
Connor Wong finished 4-for-4 with two homers and three RBI as the Red Sox shut out the Guardians 8-0 on Wednesday.

Advice: Wong already had nice numbers coming into this one, but Statcast thought he was one of the league’s biggest overachievers. Tonight’s performance was legit, though; his homers traveled 416 and 397 feet, and one of his two singles left the bat at 107.7 mph. He’s now batting .370/.386/.660, which is pretty good for a guy who was taking a backseat to Reese McGuire two weeks ago. We still wouldn’t look at him as a solution in one-catcher mixed leagues. • Cooper Criswell gets first MLB win as starter
Cooper Criswell blanked the Guardians for five innings Wednesday to earn his first major league victory as a starter.

Advice: Criswell did have one previous win as a reliever. The 27-year-old was 0-1 with a 6.23 ERA in his three career starts. He succeeded tonight even though his hardest pitch checked in at 90.1 mph. What he does have is very good command and ample movement on his cutter and changeup. It won’t be enough to make him much more than a fifth starter, but he’s looking like a nice find for the Red Sox. Rotoworld 7 minutes ago

  • Carlos Carrasco tagged for three homers by Red Sox
Carlos Carrasco surrendered five runs and nine hits in five innings Wednesday in a loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Carrasco gave up three homers, none of them cheapies. Unfortunately, there’s probably not much to be done here, as Carrasco is averaging barely over 90 mph with his fastball. That’s down two mph from last year and about four mph from his prime. He’ll keep doing his best — and his 4.63 ERA in five starts isn’t exactly bad — but he has very little upside as is. • Wilyer Abreu collects four more hits in victory
Wilyer Abreu went 4-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI against the Guardians on Wednesday.

Advice: The Red Sox would have been perfectly justified in sending down Abreu at the end of the spring or 10 days into the season, but he’s on some kind of tear now, having gone 13-for-25 with two homers, five doubles, seven RBI and three walks in his last six games. He’s even reached on errors twice during the span. His season OPS is all of the way up to .954, and it looks like he’ll be a fixture in right field until he cools off, making him at least a short-term option in mixed leagues. Rotoworld 7 minutes ago
