    • Initiates home run party
Walker went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run, three RBI and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 14-1 win over St. Louis.

Advice: Walker kicked off the Diamondbacks' fun with a three-run blast in the third inning. It was the first of three Arizona homers, as later Kevin Newman (two-run shot) and Pavin Smith (grand slam) added to the rout. For Walker, it was his first home run since April 2, snapping an 18-game drought. With four homers in 25 games to start the 2024 season, Walker is behind the pace established the last two seasons when the first baseman launched 36 (2022) and 33 homers (2023); however, he had just four April home runs in each of those two previous seasons. It seems Walker's more productive months are ahead of him. Rotowire.com Today, 3:18 am
    • Puts tally in home run column
Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Rangers.

Advice: After launching 60 combined homers in his first two MLB seasons, Rodriguez was homerless through 22 games in 2024 before tagging Dane Dunning for a two-run shot Tuesday. Despite his lack of long balls, Rodriguez has been a strong fantasy producer, having racked up five multi-hit games and four stolen bases in his last seven appearances. • Says healthy despite velocity drop
Lopez allowed three runs on four hits and two walks over four innings Tuesday in a 6-5 win over the White Sox. He struck out six in a no-decision. He said after the game he was a physically fine despite a noticeable drop in his fastball velocity during the game, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Lopez's final pitch in the fourth inning was 91.9 mph, his slowest four-seam fastball while a member of the Twins, according to Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com. Lopez didn't allow any runs in the first three innings but struggled in the fourth inning by allowing a three-run home run. It was a disappointing performance considering he was facing a struggling offense. However, it sounds like his worrisome velocity drop may not indicate a bigger problem. • Pablo López avoids loss in dicey outing vs. CWS
Pablo López allowed four hits and three earned runs over four innings in the Twins’ win over the White Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: López fell victim to a three-run homer courtesy of Eloy Jiménez in the fourth inning, which proved to be his lone blemish in an up-and-down outing. The veteran righty struggled to keep runners off the basepaths in this one, allowing six baserunners in this one. He’s now allowed seven or more baserunners in three of his last four outings and has seen his ERA rise to 4.39 on the young season. López will look to get back on track in his next outing, which is scheduled for Sunday against the Angels. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:35 pm

    • Drives in three in win
Bichette went 1-for-4 with a triple and three RBI in Monday's win over the Royals.

Advice: He opened the scoring on the night with a bases-loaded three-bagger in the third inning. Bichette only has one homer on the season so far, but he's finding ways to stay productive. Over the last 10 games, the 26-year-old shortstop is batting .282 (11-for-39) with three steals, five RBI and five runs. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:17 am
    • Takes first loss of season
Detmers (3-1) took the loss against Baltimore on Monday, allowing four runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four batters over seven innings.

Advice: Detmers surrendered four extra-base hits, including two homers, among the six knocks the Orioles managed against him, and he tied his season low with a modest four punchouts. Still, the southpaw registered his longest start of the campaign with seven frames to help the Angels stay close, but the team couldn't complete a ninth-inning rally that could have taken him off the hook for his first loss. Despite the defeat, Detmers has had an overall strong start to the campaign, posting a 2.12 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 34:10 K:BB through 29.2 innings. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:01 pm

    • Secures sixth save
Kimbrel earned a save against the Angels on Monday, allowing a hit and a walk while striking out two batters over one scoreless inning.

Advice: Kimbrel ran into some trouble in attempting to protect Baltimore's two-run ninth inning lead when he allowed the first two batters he faced to reach base. A one-out walk -- Kimbrel's first free pass of the campaign -- loaded the bases for Los Angeles, but the veteran closer got Nolan Schanuel to pop out before striking out Mike Trout looking to slam the door closed in dramatic fashion. Kimbrel is now 6-for-7 in save opportunities this season, and he's allowed just one earned run over 10 frames while racking up an impressive 16:1 K:BB. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:52 pm

    • Claims eighth save Monday
Suarez earned a save against the Rockies on Monday, giving up two hits in a scoreless inning of work.

Advice: Suarez entered in the ninth inning with San Diego up by two runs and found himself in some trouble when two of the first three batters he faced notched a hit. However, the right-hander got Ryan McMahon to ground into a game-ending double play to escape the jam without a run charged to his ledger. Suarez has now competed eight straight scoreless appearances, and he's given up just one run over 10.2 frames on the season. With eight saves, he is tied with Clay Holmes for first in the majors in that category. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:00 pm
    • Kimbrel overtakes Billy Wagner with 423rd save
Craig Kimbrel moved past Billy Wagner on the all-time saves list with a scoreless ninth Monday against the Angels.

Advice: This was a classic post-peak Kimbrel outing; he hit Jo Adell with an 0-2 pitch, gave up a soft single and then walked a batter for the first time this year to load the bases with one out. At that point, he got Nolan Schanuel to pop out and struck out Mike Trout on four fastballs. His 423rd save leaves him alone in seventh place on the all-time list. His next will tie John Franco for sixth, and after that, he’ll keep battling it out with Kenley Jansen, who is two saves ahead of him at 425. Both should also pass Francisco Rodríguez at 437 this year. Rotoworld Monday, 9:44 pm
