      Advice: Witt also went 1-for-4 in the nightcap. He's hit safely in five of the last seven games, batting .333 (10-for-30) in that span. The shortstop is off to another strong start in 2024 with a .321/.369/.628 slash line, four home runs, four steals, eight RBI, 18 runs scored, six doubles and three triples across 84 plate appearances.       Henderson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Twins.

      Advice: Henderson has six homers on the year, including one in each of the last three games. He's also posted four straight multi-hit efforts. The shortstop is thriving as the leadoff hitter in a strong offense, slashing .288/.346/.603 with four stolen bases, 15 RBI and 13 runs scored through 18 contests overall.       Advice: Alvarez took lefty Max Fried deep in the first inning to tally his fifth homer of the season. He had been quiet with the bat in seven games prior, during which he tallied no extra-base hits and hit just .136. Overall, Alvarez's line looks quite similar to expectations, as he's maintained a .289 batting average and .526 slugging percentage across the first 88 plate appearances of the campaign.       Skubal allowed four runs (two earned) on five hits across 6.1 innings and did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Rangers. He walked one and struck out six.

      Advice: Skubal has now given up two earned runs or fewer in three of his four starts this season, resulting in a stellar 2.28 ERA. The lefty also has 26 strikeouts across 23.2 innings, and his overall body of work makes him a very strong fantasy asset moving forward. Skubal is projected to take the mound again Monday against the Rays, and he should be locked into lineups no matter the opponent, as he appears to be fairly matchup-proof at this point.       Swanson went 2-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: Playing against the team that drafted him first overall back in 2015, Swanson notched his first multi-hit performance in 12 days. The shortstop hasn't really gotten going yet, as he's batting just .235 with two home runs and two stolen bases across 18 games.       Holmes earned the save in Wednesday's 6-4 win over the Blue Jays, allowing one hit in a scoreless ninth inning.

      Advice: Holmes has yet to allow an earned run through nine appearances this year and he improved to 7-for-8 in save chances, tying Kyle Finnegan and Ryan Helsley for the league lead. The 31-year-old Holmes is establishing himself as one of the better closing options in baseball, earning a firm grasp on the ninth-inning job in New York after pitching to sub-3.00 ERAs in each of his previous two campaigns.       Gausman did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Yankees, allowing a run on four hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out six.

      Advice: It was certainly a step in the right direction for Gausman, who'd allowed 11 earned runs over just five innings in his previous two outings. The right-hander held New York scoreless until Juan Soto's two-out RBI double in the fifth inning. Overall, Gausman is 0-2 on the year with a still-rough 8.16 ERA, 1.74 WHIP and 16:5 K:BB across four starts (14.1 innings).       Clay Holmes tossed a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday against the Blue Jays to collect his seventh save of the season.

      Advice: Holmes got the call to protect a two-run lead in the bottom of the ninth inning after New York’s lineup erased a two-run deficit in the top of the frame with a four-run explosion. The 31-year-old stopper gave up a one-out single to Kevin Kiermaier, but managed to escape with the lead intact.       Kevin Gausman allowed one run over five innings on Wednesday in a no-decision against the Yankees.

      Advice: Gausman’s fastball velocity rebounded in this outing as he averaged a robust 94.8 mph, topping out at 97.9 at one point, which is an extremely encouraging development for fantasy managers. The 33-year-old righty finished with five strikeouts and only issued three walks. He induced 14 swinging strikes and finished with a pedestrian 28 percent CSW.
