Thomas went 1-for-4 with an RBI double, a run scored and a stolen base during Sunday's 2-1 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Thomas spearheaded the Nationals' comeback, plating CJ Abrams with a game-tying double and then stealing third before scoring the go-ahead run on a Joey Meneses single. Thomas has generated a run and an RBI in four consecutive games, going 7-for-19 with a pair of doubles, a triple and a home run during that stretch. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:44 pm

    • Lane Thomas has SB, game-tying RBI
Lane Thomas went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a steal in a win over the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: Thomas had been hitless before doubling off Jalen Beeks in the ninth inning to tie the game at 1-1. He then stole third and came around to score on a single by Joey Meneses. Thomas got off to a slow start, but he has been good since coming off the IL, hitting .295/.341/.564 in June with five home runs, 17 RBI, 16 runs scored, and two steals. Congratulations if you were able to buy low while he was hurt. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:51 pm

    • Luis Arraez has two hits, RBI in loss on Sunday
Luis Arraez went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and an RBI on Sunday afternoon as the Padres fell to the Brewers.

Advice: The sweet-swinging 27-year-old got the Padres on the board with a two-out RBI single off of Tobias Myers in the fifth inning. With his two-hit attack, Arraez is now hitting .315/.350/.385 with just two homers, 22 RBI and three stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:55 pm

    • Paul Skenes strong for seven against Rays
Paul Skenes was uninvolved in the decision Sunday after allowing one run in seven innings and striking out eight against the Rays.

Advice: The homer off the bat of Yandy Díaz led off the game. The Rays had no further luck, though, at least not until Skenes left the game to begin the eighth. It’s the first time in eight big-league starts that Skenes has gotten through seven. He still hasn’t taken a loss, and his ERA stands at 2.14. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:14 pm
    • Tosses career-high seven innings
Skenes did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing one run on six hits and a walk over seven innings against the Rays. He struck out eight.

Advice: Skenes got off to a bit of a rough start, allowing two extra-base hits on his first four pitches, including a leadoff homer to Yandy Diaz on the first pitch of the game, but Skenes did not allow another run for the rest of his outing. The first overall pick in the 2023 Draft continues to dominate even as his workload increases, as he struck out eight over a career-high seven innings. He's now allowed just two earned runs and has struck out 23 over his last three starts spanning 19.1 innings. He also continues to display impressive control, having not walked more than one batter during any game since walking two in his first career start May 11. Skenes is currently scheduled to take the hill next weekend when the Pirates make the trek to Atlanta for a three-game set. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:46 pm
    • Moving back into rotation
Turnbull is scheduled to join the rotation and start Wednesday against the Tigers in Detroit, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Advice: He'll be taking over the rotation spot that previously belonged to Taijuan Walker, who was placed on the 15-day injured list with right index finger inflammation after developing what manager Rob Thomson termed as a "hot spot" on his pitching hand. Though an injury of this sort wouldn't seem to portend a lengthy absence for Walker, Turnbull could end up sticking around as the Phillies' No. 5 starter once Walker is healthy, so long as Turnbull comes close to recapturing the excellent form he displayed as a member of the rotation earlier this season. The Phillies have stated that they plan to monitor Turnbull's workload this season after he missed all of 2022 while recovering from Tommy John surgery and a large portion of 2023 due to neck discomfort, but the 31-year-old right-hander has made it difficult for the club to stick to that plan while he's performed so-so as a reliever (4.26 ERA, 14.1 K-BB% in 10 appearances) but exceptionally in his six starts (1.67 ERA, 20.5 K-BB%). His upcoming start against his former Tigers club will be his first since April 30, but Turnbull worked three scoreless innings (49 pitches) in his most recent relief outing Friday and is being targeted for around 70 pitches Wednesday, per Thomson. • Sitting Sunday
Gonzales isn't in the Pirates' lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Advice: Gonzales will get a chance to regroup Sunday after going 1-for-17 with five strikeouts over his last five games. In his place, Jared Triolo will get the nod at the keystone and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:58 am

    • Strikes out 10 in victory
Glasnow (8-5) picked up the win over the Angels on Saturday, allowing one run on two hits over seven innings while striking out 10.

Advice: Glasnow got off to a great start, going 1-2-3 through each of the first three innings while striking out five of the first 11 batters he faced. He would allow just one unearned run over the first six frames before leaving a slider up in the zone in the seventh, which Logan O'Hoppe launched into the stands for a solo shot. Glasnow has been spectacular as of late, with the exception of his road outing against the Yankees three starts back, allowing no more than three hits in four of his last five outings. He's also posted double-digit strikeouts in two of his last three starts and now carries a 40:4 K:BB in June to go along with a 2.42 ERA. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:56 am

    • Ninth-inning grand slam in loss
Turang went 3-for-4 with a grand slam and a walk in Saturday's loss to the Padres.

Advice: Turang reached base four times in the contest, topping things off with a ninth-inning grand slam to bring Milwaukee back within two runs of the Padres. The grand slam was the second of his career, and he's now collected at least one RBI in three consecutive games. Turang has also recorded multiple hits in three straight and is now batting .296 on the campaign with five homers, 31 RBI and 26 stolen bases. Perhaps the only downside is that he's been caught stealing in each of his last three attempts, including twice Saturday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:36 am
