    • Grayson Rodriguez roughed up by Angels in defeat
Grayson Rodriguez was pummeled for seven runs and 11 hits in 4 1/3 innings Tuesday in a loss to the Angels.

Advice: Rodriguez blamed the poor showing on leaving too many pitches down the middle of the plate. He got 14 missed swings and seven strikeouts, but 10 of the 14 balls in play against him were hard hit. It’s his first loss of the year, leaving him 3-1 with a 4.45 ERA. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:42 pm
    • Puts tally in home run column
Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Rangers.

Advice: After launching 60 combined homers in his first two MLB seasons, Rodriguez was homerless through 22 games in 2024 before tagging Dane Dunning for a two-run shot Tuesday. Despite his lack of long balls, Rodriguez has been a strong fantasy producer, having racked up five multi-hit games and four stolen bases in his last seven appearances. • Receives first day off
Torkelson is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rays.

Advice: Torkelson started the first 23 games of the season, but he has a .231/.311/.319 slash line and will take a seat Tuesday. Mark Canha will shift to first as Riley Greene serves as the designated hitter and Wenceel Perez receives a start in right field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:19 pm
    • Spencer Torkelson gets day off on Tuesday
Spencer Torkelson is not in the starting lineup for the Tigers in their Tuesday matchup against the Rays.

Advice: This is the first time orkelson is not in the lineup this season, but a day off could be just what the former number one overall pick needs. The 24-year-old has gotten off to a slow start posting a .629 OPS and has yet to hit a home run after he finished with 31 round trippers in 2023. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:28 pm
    • Drives in three in win
Bichette went 1-for-4 with a triple and three RBI in Monday's win over the Royals.

Advice: He opened the scoring on the night with a bases-loaded three-bagger in the third inning. Bichette only has one homer on the season so far, but he's finding ways to stay productive. Over the last 10 games, the 26-year-old shortstop is batting .282 (11-for-39) with three steals, five RBI and five runs. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:17 am
    • Continues early-season success
Cowser went 1-for-4 with a solo home run against the Angels in a 4-2 win Monday.

Advice: Cowser accounted for Baltimore's final run with a seventh-inning solo shot off Reid Detmers. It was the young slugger's sixth long ball of the campaign and his second in as many games. Cowser looked lost facing major-league batting for the first time last season, posting a .115/.286/.148 slash line with a 28.6 percent strikeout rate over 77 plate appearances. He's turned things around dramatically to start this season, however, recording a .364/.400/.800 slash line along with 12 extra-base hits, 10 runs, 17 RBI and three thefts through 60 plate appearances. • Fans eight in victory Monday
Cease (3-1) earned the win over Colorado on Monday, allowing one run on one hit and no walks while striking out eight batters over seven innings.

Advice: Cease dominated the Rockies' lineup, yielding just one hit -- a fourth-inning Charlie Blackmon leadoff double that Colorado converted into its only run. The veteran hurler has notched a win in each of his past three starts, giving up just two earned runs and five hits while striking out 22 batters over 19 frames during that stretch. Cease's lack of free passes Monday was also a positive development after he had issued multiple walks in each of his first four starts of the campaign, including five in his previous outing. Cease's season ERA now sits at a sterling 1.82, which is tied for 10th in MLB among qualified starters. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:53 pm

    • Colton Cowser gets start versus lefty, homers
Colton Cowser homered in a second straight game Monday against the Angels.

Advice: Since the Orioles were facing a lefty, Cowser might have been on the bench for this one had Austin Hays been healthy. As is, he made his second start versus a southpaw and hit his second homer off one when he took Reid Detmers deep in the seventh. He’s at .364/.400/.800 for the season. • Dylan Cease limits Rockies to one hit in victory
Dylan Cease allowed one run and one hit over seven innings for the win Monday as the Padres topped the Rockies 3-1.

Advice: This was shaping up as a no-decision when Cease exited a 1-1 game, but the Padres scored twice in the top of the eighth to put him in line for the victory. Cease struck out eight and walked none in improving to 3-1 with a 1.82 ERA. He’ll face the Phillies next. Rotoworld Monday, 8:19 pm
