    • Lewis blasts fourth home run Monday
Royce Lewis went 1-for-4 with two runs scored and a two-run home run against the Rockies on Monday.

Advice: Lewis’ home run was his fourth of the season in only seven games played. He’s done quite a job at making up for lost time. Lewis hit 15 home runs with a .240 ISO in 58 games last year before putting on a power display in the playoffs as well. He continues to show that his power is legitimate. Lewis just needs to stay on the field to be a major contributor this year. Rotoworld Monday, 7:12 pm

    • Back in lineup Monday
Bregman (hand) will start at third base and bat second in Monday's game in San Francisco.

Advice: Bregman was removed from Sunday's game against the Angels after being hit on the left hand by a pitch. It was the second time in the last week that he's been struck on the hand by a pitch, but X-rays again came back negative and he won't miss any starts this time around. • Alex Bregman in lineup despite bruised hand
Alex Bregman is back in Monday’s lineup after leaving Sunday’s game with a bruised left wrist.

Advice: Assuming that he isn’t a late scratch for the second time in a week, Bregman will start at third and bat second tonight against the Giants. Rotoworld Monday, 3:56 pm

    • Two more steals Sunday
Rengifo went 2-for-4 with two steals and a run in Sunday's 9-7 win over the Angels. He was also hit by a pitch.

Advice: Rengifo ended a mini 0-for-8 skid at the plate with two hits Sunday and managed to swipe two more bags to bring him up to 17 for the year. Rengifo already has five steals in eight games this month and now sits tied for sixth in baseball. He now has eight multi-hit efforts over his last 18 games and continues to be one of the most consistent hitters in the Angels' lineup. The 27-year-old is now slashing .316/.367/.448 with four homers, 18 RBI, 25 runs and a 12:27 BB:K in 189 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:26 am

    • Alex Bregman (wrist) considered day-to-day
Astros’ manager Joe Espada told reporters after Sunday’s loss to the Angels that X-rays came back negative on the injured left wrist of Alex Bregman.

Advice: Bregman noted that while he got hit flush on his hand earlier in the week, the pitch that got him on Sunday was on his wrist instead. Fortunately, X-rays came back negative for any fractures and he’s considered day-to-day. Expect him to return to action early next week. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:57 pm

    • Luis Rengifo swipes two bases as Angels top Astros
Luis Rengifo continued his thieving ways in Sunday’s victory over the Astros, going 2-for-4 with a run scored and a pair of stolen bases.

Advice: Rengifo led off the fifth inning with a single off of Justin Verlander, swiped second base and then raced around to score on an RBI single by Willie Calhoun. He also reached on an error in the ninth inning and nabbed second again, but was ultimately stranded there. The versatile 27-year-old entered the season with 18 career stolen bases through his first 448 ballgames. This season, he has already swiped 17 bags in his first 49 games while hitting a robust .316/.367/.448 with four homers and 18 RBI. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:54 pm

    • Initial tests come back clean
X-rays on Bregman's left wrist came back clean Sunday, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Advice: Bregman was forced to exit Sunday's game against the Angels after being hit on the wrist by a sinker. It was the second time since Wednesday he's been hit in the hand area by a pitch, though he told reporters after the game that he was hit in a different spot the second time. Bregman also declared himself good to go, but it will still be worth confirming he is in Houston's lineup Monday against the Giants. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:43 pm

    • Alex Bregman (hand) leaves game after hit by pitch
Alex Bregman was removed from Sunday’s game against the Angels after being hit by a pitch on his left hand.

Advice: Bregman was plunked by a 93.4 mph sinker on the same hand that he was hit on earlier in the week. He did stay in the game to run the bases for himself but was ultimately removed when the Astros took the field. He’ll presumably head for X-rays to see if there’s any structural damage. Stay tuned. • Exits after HBP on hand
Bregman exited Sunday's game against the Angels after being hit on the left hand by a 93.4 mph sinker in the sixth inning, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Advice: He will presumably go for tests to determine the extent of the injury beyond the initial designation of "discomfort". Bregman missed a game last week when the same hand swelled up after a similar injury. Trey Cabbage entered the game in left field following Bregman's departure Sunday, while Mauricio Dubon moved to third base. Rotowire.com Sunday, 3:11 pm
