    • Cole Ragans holds Dodgers to three over seven
      Cole Ragans picked up no-decision after allowing three runs in seven innings of work against the Dodgers on Friday.

      Advice: Ragans struck out four and walked one. He scattered six hits allowed, but two of those were homers from Miguel Rojas and Chris Taylor. Even with the roundtrippers it’s another quality outing from the 26-year-old, albeit one that doesn’t come with many strikeouts nor a win.       Peralta (4-4) yielded six runs on 10 hits and a walk over 5.1 innings Friday, striking out six and taking a loss against the Reds.

      Advice: Peralta gave up two home runs in the loss, including a two-run shot by Jeimer Candelario in the fifth inning. He forced 16 whiffs Friday, marking the 12th time he's reached double digits this season. Peralta has posted a 7.90 ERA through three starts this month, bumping his season ERA up to 4.38 through 76 innings. He's now 1-4 since the start of May.     • Gerrit Cole strikes out 10 in final rehab start
      Gerrit Cole delivered a dominant performance in his final minor league rehab start at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday night, racking up 10 strikeouts over his 4 1/3 innings of work.

      Advice: Cole surrendered just an unearned run on two hits on the night and didn’t walk a batter. He threw 70 pitches — 46 of them for strikes. The Yankees plan to meet in the next day or two to discuss Cole’s status, but it would be shocking at this point if his next start didn’t come in pinstripes. Rotoworld Friday, 5:27 pm

      Gerrit Cole (elbow) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday.

      Lopez (6-6) earned the win Wednesday over Colorado, allowing two runs on five hits over five innings. He struck out five.

      Advice: It was an encouraging outing for Lopez after he allowed seven runs and six walks in a loss to the Yankees in his last start. The right-hander notably didn't allow a free pass Wednesday. Overall, it's been an inconsistent first quarter of the season for Lopez -- his ERA sits at 5.33 with a 1.21 WHIP and 84:17 K:BB across 14 starts (76 innings).     • Next rehab start set
      Cole (elbow) will make a third rehab a start Friday with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Max Goodman of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

      Advice: The right-hander threw 57 pitches over 4.2 innings during his second rehab outing Sunday, and he'll move up to the Triple-A level as he continues building up his workload. Manager Aaron Boone said Wednesday, "we'll see" when asked if it will be Cole's final rehab start, so it's possible he's cleared to make his season debut for the Yankees next week.     • Pablo López strikes out five in win over Rockies
      Pablo López allowed two runs over five innings on Wednesday in a win over the Rockies.

      Advice: López wasn’t quite as dominant as fantasy managers might’ve expected considering he was facing a Rockies squad that historically-speaking tends to struggle away from Coors Field. However, he managed to limit Colorado’s lineup to just five hits, including a solo homer by Ryan McMahon, in a much-needed rebound performance after being shelled for seven runs his last time out against the Yankees. He recorded five strikeouts and didn’t hand out a free pass. He’s been much better from an underlying numbers standpoint than his surface stats would suggest and remains an upper-echelon fantasy starter in the current injury-plagued landscape. He’ll carry an inflated 5.33 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 84/17 K/BB ratio across 76 innings (14 starts) into a home outing on Tuesday against the Rays. Rotoworld Wednesday, 2:04 pm

      Luzardo (3-5) picked up the win Tuesday, giving up two runs on four hits and a walk over 5.2 innings in a 4-2 victory over the Mets. He struck out four.

      Advice: The southpaw had a bumpy second inning that included plunking his first batters of the year, but Luzardo was otherwise sharp and left the mound after 91 pitches (62 strikes). Since returning from a flexor strain in mid-May, he's gone 3-3 in six starts with a 4.04 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 29:6 K:BB over 35.2 innings.       Kikuchi (4-5) allowed three hits and four walks while striking out five over five shutout innings to earn the win over the Brewers on Tuesday.

      Advice: Kikuchi's four walks ran up his pitch count quickly, but it was an otherwise strong performance. This was just the second time in his last 11 outings that he's walked multiple batters. The southpaw has won his last two starts and now has a 3.26 ERA on the year with a 1.23 WHIP and 76:19 K:BB through 77.1 innings over 14 starts.
