Kwan went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Kwan saw a 14-game hitting streak end Friday with an 0-for-4 performance, but he rebounded nicely Saturday. The homer was his third in June, and he's added six doubles, 10 RBI and 16 runs scored this month. The outfielder has matched his career high with six long balls, and with over half of the season to go, he has a reasonable chance at double digits. He's slashing a fantastic .390/.449/.564 with 22 RBI, 45 runs scored, three stolen bases, 12 doubles and two triples over 48 contests. Rotowire.com 18 minutes ago

    • Hit hard early in loss
Hicks (4-4) took the loss against the Cardinals on Saturday, allowing five runs on six hits and three walks with one strikeout over four innings.

Advice: Hicks surrendered a two-run home run to Paul Goldschmidt in the first and a three-run homer to Alec Burleson in the fourth before departing with a 5-4 deficit. After tossing five scoreless innings June 17, this was the most earned runs Hicks has allowed in a start this season. The righty has only completed five frames in one of four June outings and has not logged a quality start since April 27. He owns a 3.24 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 69:31 K:BB over 80.2 innings and lines up to start against the Cubs next week. Rotowire.com 32 minutes ago

    • Active early in win
Suzuki went 2-for-4 with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Mets.

Advice: Suzuki opened the scoring with an RBI single in the first inning then stole second and scored in the same frame. He later added a double in the fifth. Suzuki is slashing .292/.395/.523 with seven-multi hit efforts in 65 June at-bats. The 29-year-old is contributing a bit of everything this season, slashing .269/.347/.461 with eight home runs, 28 RBI, 27 runs scored and seven steals through 197 at-bats. Rotowire.com 38 minutes ago

    • Reports soreness during bullpen
Kershaw (shoulder) reported soreness during Saturday's bullpen session and could have his rehab outing scheduled for Tuesday pushed back, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: Kershaw completed three innings in a rehab outing at Single-A Ranchero Cucamonga on Wednesday and was expected to jump up to Triple-A Oklahoma City for Tuesday's outing. However, he may need more time between rehab appearances after feeling soreness in his shoulder during a bullpen session Saturday. Even if Kershaw does have to push back his next outing, he's still not expected back until near the All-Star break. Rotowire.com Today, 4:44 pm

    • Clayton Kershaw dealing with soreness in shoulder
Dodgers’ skipper Dave Roberts told reporters on Saturday that Clayton Kershaw reported feeling soreness in his left shoulder following a bullpen session earlier in the day.

Advice: It’s not unusual for a pitcher to feel some soreness as they’re getting stretched out after such a long layoff, but he’ll be monitored closely over the next few days. Roberts noted that it’s possible Kershaw’s next minor league rehab start — scheduled for Tuesday at Triple-A Oklahoma City — will need to be pushed back. Rotoworld Today, 4:34 pm

    • Kwan has two hits, home run in win Saturday
Steven Kwan went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Is there anything Kwan can’t do? The home run was his sixth of the year and second in his last four games. After going 0-for-4 on Friday to snap his 14-game hitting streak, he bounced back with another two hits. Kwan has been one of the best hitters in the league. He’s hitting .390 with a 1.013 OPS on the season now. Rotoworld Today, 4:12 pm

    • Jordan Hicks coughs up two homers vs. Cardinals
Jordan Hicks was lit up for five runs over four innings on Saturday in a loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: Hicks was hit extremely hard by his former organization on Saturday afternoon in his return to Busch Stadium as he surrendered six hits, including homers to Paul Goldschmidt and Alec Burleson, which accounted for all of the damage against him. He finished with only one strikeout and also handed out a trio of free passes. The only positive here is that he surpassed his previous career-high single-season mark of 77 2/3 innings, which he set back in 2018, in this one. He’ll bring a solid 3.24 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 69/31 K/BB ratio across 80 2/3 innings (16 starts) into a home outing on Thursday against the Cubs. Rotoworld Today, 2:01 pm

    • Shut down from throwing
Romano experienced right elbow soreness after long tossing from 120 feet Friday and has been shut down from throwing, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports.

Advice: Romano was slated to throw off the mound over the weekend, but he will now take a break while the team determines next steps. Prior to landing on the injured list June 1, the 31-year-old closer registered eight saves across 15 outings with a 6.59 ERA and 1.46 WHIP over 13.2 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 11:40 am

    • Jordan Romano shut down due to elbow soreness
Jordan Romano has been shut down from throwing due to renewed right elbow soreness.

Advice: Not good. Romano has been out since late May recovering from a right elbow issue and the fact that he’s still experiencing soreness isn’t good. The issue cropped up during a long-tossing session on Friday and the Blue Jays have shut him down for the moment to determine his next steps. It’ll be Chad Green continuing to close for Toronto for at least a couple additional weeks with both Romano and Yimi García (elbow) sidelined due to injury. Rotoworld Today, 11:33 am
