    • Dylan Cease gives up three runs in loss to Angels
Dylan Cease allowed three runs with six strikeouts in a loss to the Angels on Wednesday.

Advice: All three runs off Cease came via the home run. Nolan Schanuel got the scoring started with a solo blast to lead off the first inning. Zach Neto followed with a two-run shot in the second. Cease settled in to toss four more scoreless frames while striking out six. The 28-year-old right-hander will take a 3.51 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, and a 93/21 K/BB ratio across 77 innings into a start against the Athletics in San Diego on Monday. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:12 pm

    • Strikes out seven Wednesday
Fedde allowed three runs on six hits and struck out seven without issuing a walk over five innings in a no-decision versus the Cubs on Wednesday.

Advice: Fedde left the game in line for the win until the Cubs rallied ahead in the seventh inning. He had quality starts in four of his six outings in May, but he's given up seven runs over his last 10 innings across two starts. Fedde is at a 3.27 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 73:22 K:BB through 74.1 innings over 13 starts this season. The right-hander is projected to make his next start at Seattle. • Three hits, homer vs. Cincinnati
Diaz went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and two additional RBI in a 12-7 loss to the Reds on Wednesday.

Advice: After opening the scoring with an RBI groundout in the first inning, Diaz put the Rockies ahead 5-4 with a solo shot off Nick Martinez before adding a third RBI with a base hit in the seventh. It's the third multi-hit effort in four games for Diaz -- he's gone 7-for-16 in that span. The 33-year-old backstop is off to another strong start this year, slashing .306/.351/.452 with five homers, 27 RBI and 20 runs scored through 202 plate appearances. • Delivers walkoff home run
Tauchman went 2-for-4 with a walk, a solo home run and two additional runs scored in Wednesday's 7-6 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Tauchman provided some heroics, taking Michael Kopech deep in the bottom of the ninth inning to send the fans home happy. The veteran outfielder has provided steady play for the Cubs, and while Chicago has a crowded outfield, Tauchman has been able to see regular playing time as the DH when he's not in the field. As long as he's getting at-bats, the 33-year-old should hold onto some fantasy value. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:18 pm

    • Mike Tauchman slugs walk-off homer vs. White Sox
Mike Tauchman went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and a walk-off homer to power the Cubs to a 7-6 win over the White Sox on Wednesday.

Advice: Tauchman knocked a base hit in the fifth inning and scored on a balk. He drew a walk in the seventh as the Cubs rallied to come back against the White Sox and scored on a single by Ian Happ. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, Tauchman took Michael Kopech deep to center field to walk it off with the victory. The 33-year-old outfielder is hitting .269/.372/.414 with five homers, 36 runs scored, 18 RBI, and four steals across 218 plate appearances. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:15 pm

    • Erick Fedde gives up three runs in no-decision
Erick Fedde allowed three runs with seven strikeouts across five innings in a no-decision against the Cubs on Wednesday.

Advice: Fedde gave up a run in the second inning on three hits and worked out of a bases loaded jam. He settled in for two scoreless frames before getting into more trouble in the fifth. Three base hits loaded the bases with one out. Cody Bellinger brought a run in on a groundout and a second run would come in on a balk before Fedde got out of the inning. He’d be done after five frames with seven strikeouts in line for the win, but the White Sox would unable to hold on to the lead. The 31-year-old right-hander will take a 3.27 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and a 73/22 K/BB ratio across 74 1/3 innings into a start against the Mariners in Seattle on Monday. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:11 pm

    • Nick Castellanos homers, Phillies sweep Brewers
Nick Castellanos swatted a two-run homer on Wednesday, lifting the Phillies to a 2-0 victory over the Brewers.

Advice: Castellanos connected for a 402-foot blast off Brewers southpaw Aaron Ashby in the fifth inning for his eighth big fly of the season. It wound up being the lone tally for either side in a rare low-scoring showdown at Citizens Bank Park and was more than enough run support for Aaron Nola and the Phillies’ bullpen in this one. The 32-year-old corner outfielder has homered twice in this last seven contests since May 29. Rotoworld Wednesday, 4:53 pm
    • Provides only offense in win
Castellanos went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Brewers.

Advice: The veteran outfielder provided the game's only offense by taking Aaron Ashby deep in the fifth inning. Castellanos is beginning to climb out of his early season hole, batting .270 (17-for-63) over his last 16 games with four of his eight homers on the season, along with 11 runs and 11 RBI. • Spencer Steer slugs go-ahead homer vs. Rockies
Spencer Steer walloped a go-ahead two-run homer in the ninth inning on Wednesday in the Reds’ comeback win over the Rockies.

Advice: Steer was the hero on Wednesday afternoon at Coors Field for Cincinnati as he delivered a clutch go-ahead homer off Rockies closer Jalen Beeks with the Reds down to their final out. It was his seventh round-tripper of the season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 4:31 pm
