The save was his eighth of the season and first since returning from a 10-game suspension for using an illegal foreign substance. The Mets had the league’s worst bullpen ERA while he was out.       Tanner Scott threw a scoreless inning to get a save Saturday against the White Sox.

      Advice: Scott had his good control Saturday — something that isn’t always there even with his gaudy numbers — and threw 10-of-14 pitches for strikes while picking up a punchout. It’s the 13th save of the season; a more impressive number when you consider Miami has won only 31 games. Scott is very likely going to be playing for a new team by the end of July.       Yamamoto (shoulder) will begin playing catch next week, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

      Advice: Yamamoto has been shut down from throwing since being diagnosed with a right rotator cuff strain June 16 but will resume a throwing program in the coming days.
