      The Tigers will recall Meadows from Triple-A Toledo prior to Friday's game against the Reds, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

      Advice: Meadows was sent down by the Tigers in early May after putting up a lowly .443 OPS with a 37.7 percent strikeout rate over 32 games. However, he got back on track at Toledo, slashing .298/.394/.511 with eight home runs, 19 stolen bases and just a 19 percent strikeout rate in 47 contests. Meadows will get regular reps at least against right-handed pitching, and while there's no guarantee he'll be better this time around in the majors, his power/speed combo makes him worthy of being added in most fantasy formats.       Advice: Pederson got the rout started early against his former team with a first-inning solo homer. It was his second home run in the last three games and 12th of the season. Pederson maintains career highs in average (.284) and OPS (.896), mostly against right-handed pitching. Just 18 of his 250 plate appearances have come against left-handers.       Advice: Thomas returned to the lineup after getting a day off Wednesday. The day off was likely due to manager Torey Lovullo easing Thomas back into the lineup following a three-month absence while on the injured list. The outfielder doesn't have a history as a high-volume base stealer, but Thomas could help in that category.
