    • Bryan Woo to undergo MRI on ailing hamstring
Bryan Woo will undergo an MRI on his right hamstring on Tuesday.

Advice: Woo didn’t speak after the game. That he’s going for an MRI suggests that even if he gets good news, he’s still going to miss some time. Woo was pulled from his start Monday in the fourth after hurting his leg while throwing a pitch. Rotoworld Monday, 7:07 pm

    • Tanner Bibee strikes out seven in win over O’s
Tanner Bibee struck out seven and was charged with two runs (one earned) over six innings on Monday in a win over the Orioles.

Advice: Bibee kept things rolling from a strikeout standpoint in this one, recording at least seven strikeouts for the sixth time in his last seven outings dating back to May 19. The 25-year-old righty generated 14 swinging strikes, with half of them coming on his four-seam fastball, and finished with a solid 27 percent CSW. He’s continued to lean a bit more on his curveball a bit more in recent outings, which coincides with the recent uptick in strikeouts, and he appears primed for a strong second half of the year. He’ll bring a solid 3.50 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 106/22 K/BB ratio across 87 1/3 innings (16 starts) into a road matchup on Saturday against the Royals. Rotoworld Monday, 6:26 pm

    • Bryan Woo exits due to hamstring tightness
Bryan Woo exited his start Monday with right hamstring tightness, according to the Mariners.

Advice: Everything is tightness initially now, so that seemingly positive diagnosis means nothing at the moment. If Woo needs to miss some time, but Mariners might go to Jhonathan Diaz in the rotation. Emerson Hancock is the usual fallback, but he’s dealing with a back problem at the moment. • Nursing hamstring injury
Woo was removed from Monday's game against the Rays due to right hamstring tightness.

Advice: Woo left his start with the team trainer after suffering what looked to be a right leg injury, and he's since been diagnosed with a hamstring issue. The team should have a better idea of whether he'll require a trip to the injured list after further evaluation, and he's set to undergo an MRI on Tuesday, per Daniel Kramer of MLB.com. • Bryan Woo exits game with right leg injury
Bryan Woo left Monday’s game in the fourth inning with an apparent leg injury.

Advice: Woo grabbed the back of his right leg after throwing a pitch. He was looking good in this one, having struck out three through three scoreless innings. He was charged with an unearned run after leaving in the fourth. Rotoworld Monday, 5:05 pm

    • Exits early versus Rays
Woo left Monday's contest in the fourth inning due to an apparent right leg injury, Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com reports.

Advice: Woo pitched three scoreless innings, allowing four hits while striking out three batters to open his outing Monday. He then surrendered a leadoff single to Richie Palacios in the bottom of the fourth inning and was removed thereafter with a right leg injury. Woo was visibly upset after tweaking something in his leg and a more exact diagnosis will likely come in the near future. Rotowire.com Monday, 5:03 pm

    • Yu Darvish has sore elbow, won’t return Tuesday
Yu Darvish is dealing with elbow inflammation will not return to the Padres rotation on Tuesday.

Advice: This is a new problem for Darvish, who has been out since June 1 with a strained groin, but the Padres are hopeful it’ll be only a minor setback. Adam Mazur will take his place Tuesday against the Nationals. Rotoworld Monday, 3:58 pm

    • Dealing with elbow inflammation
Padres manager Mike Shildt said Monday that Darvish (groin) won't be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Tuesday versus the Nationals due to "a little" right elbow inflammation, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Darvish had been slated to return from close to a month-long absence with a groin injury, but it's an elbow issue that will delay his activation even further. Shildt's wording would seem to suggest that Darvish is dealing with a minor setback, but a return to the rotation next week isn't guaranteed, especially after Darvish missed the final month of last season with a bone spur in the elbow. Adam Mazur was recalled from Triple-A El Paso and will start Tuesday. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:55 pm
