    • Perfect for 18th save
Diaz picked up the save Tuesday against the Yankees, striking out one across a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Diaz only needed nine pitches to retire Trent Grisham, Austin Wells and Anthony Volpe in order Tuesday. Diaz has fired five consecutive scoreless innings and is up to 18 saves on the season which is tied for eighth most in baseball. Despite the strong save total, Diaz owns a 4.60 ERA across 31.1 innings. Rotowire.com 47 minutes ago
    • Keeps tumbling
Gil (9-4) took the loss Tuesday against Cincinnati, allowing four runs on two hits and three walks across four innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Gil surrendered at least four runs for a third straight start, something he'd done just once in his first 13 outings, continuing an unexpected freefall after an outstanding start to 2024. He was pulled after hitting a pair of batters and allowing a two-run home run to Will Benson in the fifth inning without recording an out. While Gil still owns a 3.41 ERA and a 102:48 K:BB across 89.2 innings, fantasy managers should proceed with caution, especially with a matchup against the Red Sox on the docket for Sunday. • Teoscar Hernández plates three in Dodgers victory
Teoscar Hernández went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI on Tuesday night, propelling the Dodgers to a walk-off 6-5 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Hernández got the party started in the first inning with a two-out RBI double off of Ryne Nelson. He also drove in the game’s second run with a fielder’s choice in the third inning. The best was yet to come though, as he dropped a two-out RBI single into left field off of Paul Sewald in the ninth inning, delivering a come-from-behind walk-off victory and sending the Dodgers’ home faithful into a frenzy. With the three-hit night, the 31-year-old outfielder is now hitting .254/.316/.480 with 18 long balls, 58 RBI and four stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:21 pm
    • Walk-off hero Tuesday
Hernandez went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Hernandez plated the Dodgers' first two runs and then helped them finish off the back-and-forth game with a walk-off single in the ninth. This was his first multi-hit effort in seven contests -- he'd gone just 2-for-23 (.087) over his previous six games. Hernandez is up to .254/.316/.480 slash line with 18 home runs, 58 RBI, 44 runs scored, four stolen bases, 17 doubles and a triple through 84 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:13 pm
    • Allows five earned runs in loss
Keller (9-5) took the loss against the Cardinals on Tuesday, allowing six runs (five earned) on nine hits and no walks with five strikeouts over five innings.

Advice: Keller was burned by the long ball, surrendering a two-run home run in the second inning and a grand slam in the fourth. After completing at least six frames in eight consecutive starts from May 6 to June 19, the righty has now failed to do so in his past two outings. The 28-year-old will bring a solid 3.48 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 96:27 K:BB over 103.1 innings into a projected home matchup with the Mets this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:08 pm
    • Spencer Horwitz homers in win
Spencer Horwitz went 1-for-4 with a home run in a win over the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: The rookie hit two balls over 100 mph tonight with a 102.6 mph lineout and then a 101.6 mph home run that went 377 feet for his third home run of the season. It took a bit of time for the Blue Jays to play Horwitz regularly, but he has been starting against all right-handed pitchers of late and is hitting .306/.442/.500 in 22 MLB games. He hits second every time he plays and should continue to post strong batting averages and on-base percentages. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:02 pm

    • Alexis Díaz earns a save in win over Yankees
Alexis Díaz pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn a save in a 5-4 win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: Díaz has now converted 11 straight save chances and has pitched to a 1.98 ERA in 14 2/3 innings over that stretch. However, some of the early command issues remain as Díaz has a 13.2 percent walk rate over that same span. He may remain volatile given his subpar command and he doesn’t miss as many bats as your typical closer, but he remains locked into the closer’s role on a solid team and will continue to rack up saves. • Austin Riley homers again in loss to Giants
Austin Riley went 1-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s loss to the Giants.

Advice: Riley got the scoring started for the Braves in the second inning when he took Hayden Birdsong 415 feet to left for a solo homer. The home run was Riley’s 10th blast of the season and his third in his last 10 games. The veteran third baseman has gotten off to a slow start this season after three straight 30-plus homer seasons but has now hit safely in six of his last eight games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:24 pm
    • Luis Gil’s struggles continue in loss
Luis Gil allowed four runs on two hits in four innings in a loss to the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: The command simply wasn’t there for Gil on Tuesday, walking three and striking out three while throwing 83 pitches in just four innings. There has been some concern that Gil is hitting a bit of a wall after allowing 16 earned runs in his last 9 2/3 innings. The Yankees maintain confidence in the 26-year-old, but he left a lot of sliders up in the zone today and struggled to command his changeup, so perhaps he is getting a little tired in his breakout season.
