    • Sitting down Thursday
Lewis isn't in the Twins' lineup for Thursday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: Lewis will get a breather Thursday after hitting a home run in each of his first two games since returning from the injured list Tuesday. Jose Miranda will take over at the hot corner, allowing Carlos Santana to start at first base. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:09 am

    • Lifts homer Wednesday
Pages went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

Advice: Pages hit one of Los Angeles' two homers off rookie phenom Paul Skenes, launching a solo shot in the fifth inning. It was the first homer for Pages over his past 13 games and his sixth overall this season. Despite the lack of power recently, the rookie outfielder has been swinging a hot bat, collecting four multi-hit efforts over his past seven contests and slashing .500/.522/.682 during that span. • Stays hot with four hits
Tatis went 4-for-4 with one RBI in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Angels.

Advice: Tatis was responsible for half of the Padres' hits and run production in the low-scoring game. The 25-year-old is on a heater with an 11-game hitting streak, during which he's batting .432 (19-for-44) with four extra-base hits. He's added 33 points to his batting average during the streak, and he's now at a .795 OPS with 10 home runs, six stolen bases, 32 RBI and 40 runs scored over 65 contests this season. • Homers again Wednesday
Lewis went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Lewis homered in his return from a lengthy absence due to a quad injury Tuesday, and he left the yard again Wednesday in his second game back. The third baseman has played in just three contests this season, but he's maximized his opportunities with a long ball in each of those games. Altogether, he's gone 4-for-7 with the three homers, three RBI and two walks across nine plate appearances. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:06 pm

    • Fernando Tatis Jr. collects four hits in loss
Fernando Tatis Jr. with 4-for-4 with an RBI against the Angels on Wednesday.

Advice: Tatis Jr. was perfect at the plate on Wednesday, reaching base in all four plate appearances. He knocked a base hit in the first and fourth innings before driving in a run on a single in the sixth. He’d knock one more base hit in the eighth to make it 4-for-4. The 24-year-old outfielder is hitting a solid .277/.352/.443 with 10 homers, 40 runs scored, 32 RBI, and six steals across 284 plate appearances. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:14 pm
    • Andy Pages hits sixth homer against Pirates
Andy Pages went 2-for-4 and hit his sixth homer against the Pirates on Wednesday.

Advice: Pages seems to have gotten it back together lately, which is huge for him. James Outman has been tearing it up in Triple-A and is the better defensive center fielder, so Pages might have been due to head back to the minors if not for him going 11-for-22 in his last seven games. As is, the Dodgers will likely stick with the status quo for a little while longer. It’s easy to imagine Outman overtaking Pages at some point, though. Rotoworld Wednesday, 6:59 pm

    • Royce Lewis homers again in loss to Yankees
Royce Lewis homered for the third consecutive game on Wednesday, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Twins past the Yankees.

Advice: Lewis went deep on opening day and then crushed another homer in his return from the injured list on Tuesday. He followed that up with a 373-foot (100.3 mph EV) solo shot off of Dennis Santana in the seventh inning that pulled the Twins to within six runs at 9-3. He finished the night 1-for-4 and is now hitting .571/.667/1.857 with three homers and three RBI through his first three games on the season. He just needs to stay healthy. • Set to return to lineup Friday
Burger said that he's not dealing with any soreness or pain in his intercostal muscle, but he's out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays as a matter of caution, Noah Berger of ElExtraBase.com reports.

Advice: Burger was on the injured list from April 15 through May 6 with a left intercostal strain, and he appeared to tweak the muscle on a swing during Tuesday's 9-5 loss. He was able to stay in the game, and Burger's condition hasn't seemed to have taken a turn for the worse heading into Wednesday's series finale. However, with a team off day Thursday, both Burger and manager Skip Schumaker agreed that it was for the best for the third baseman to get a two-day break by exiting the lineup Wednesday. Burger is fully expected to be back in the starting nine Friday versus the Guardians. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:58 pm

    • Jake Burger (oblique) takes day off as precaution
Jake Burger is getting Wednesday off after tweaking his oblique on a swing during Tuesday’s game.

Advice: Burger said he felt fine today and that this is just a precaution. He was sidelined from April 14 to May 5 after straining his left oblique. Expectations are that he’ll be in Friday’s lineup after the off day tomorrow. Rotoworld Wednesday, 12:34 pm
