    • Logs RBI in fifth straight
Langford went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Royals.

Advice: The story of the game was the return of Max Scherzer to the mound, but Langford also contributed to the Rangers' fourth straight win. His fourth-inning double plated Texas' first run and he came home on Leody Taveras' two-run single. Langford has at least one hit and one RBI in five consecutive games, knocking in 10 runs in all while going 8-for-19 with five extra-base hits. Rotowire.com Today, 5:17 am

    • Picks up fifth steal
Gorman went 0-for-4 with a stolen base in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Giants.

Advice: Gorman got aboard on a fielder's choice and picked up a steal for the second game in a row. The second baseman has gone 0-for-9 with a hit-by-pitch and two sacrifice flies over his last three contests. He's gone 17 games without a multi-hit effort, batting a poor .078 (5-for-64) in that span, though two of those hits have been homers. The slump has him down to a .194/.272/.421 slash line with 16 home runs, 36 RBI, five steals and 31 runs scored across 70 contests. Gorman's struggled to hit for average over his three years in the majors, and a career-worst 35.9 percent strikeout rate isn't doing him any favors in 2024. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:33 pm

    • Yields five runs in loss
King (5-5) allowed five runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out eight over six innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Brewers.

Advice: King had given up a total of five runs across his previous five outings, but he had just one win in that span despite a 34:9 K:BB over 26.2 innings. He wasn't as good Sunday, as the Brewers pieced together a two-out rally in the second inning that accounted for four of the five runs on his line. King is now at a 3.75 ERA with a 1.29 WHIP and 109:38 K:BB through 93.2 innings over 17 appearances (16 starts) this season. The right-hander is projected to make his next start at Boston. • Escapes with save
Scott allowed two hits and a walk in a scoreless inning Sunday, striking out one and earning a save over the Mariners.

Advice: Scott loaded the bases with two outs but managed to finish off the 6-4 win unscathed. He tossed 16 of 22 pitches for strikes and notched his first save since Jun 11. He blew his last save chance June 13 but has since turned in five straight scoreless innings. Scott has nine saves with a 1.64 ERA and a 35:23 K:BB through 33 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:39 pm
    • Michael King tagged for five runs in loss Sunday
Michael King struggled in a losing effort against the Brewers on Sunday afternoon, giving up five runs on nine hits over his six innings of work.

Advice: King helped to salvage his day, at least from a fantasy perspective, by racking up eight strikeouts and issuing just one base on balls. All of the damage done against him came in the second inning, as the Brewers strung together five singles and a triple to push five runs across. He settled in nicely after that and finished his day with four scoreless frames, but it was too late at that point. King got 11 swings and misses on 97 pitches on the day, posting a CSW of 31 percent. The highly inconsistent right-hander will carry a 3.75 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and a 109/38 K/BB ratio (93 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Red Sox in Boston. • Earns 20th save
Iglesias struck out two during a perfect ninth to collect the save Sunday against the Yankees.

Advice: Iglesias needed just 10 pitches to close out the game, retiring Aaron Judge on one pitch, then striking out the final two batters he faced. Iglesias has converted 12 consecutive save chances and 20 of 22 opportunities on the season, carrying a 2.51 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 23 strikeouts over 28.2 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:16 pm
    • Pete Fairbanks perfect in earning 11th save
Pete Fairbanks notched his 11th save with a scoreless ninth versus the Pirates on Sunday.

Advice: Fairbanks struck out one while protecting a two-run lead. The closer had allowed single runs in three of his previous four appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:14 pm
    • Tanner Scott stays red-hot with save
Tanner Scott earned the save Sunday over the Mariners after allowing two hits and a walk. He also struck out one batter.

Advice: This was a shaky save for Scott as the Mariners put the tying run in scoring position. Luckily, Otto Lopez snagged a line drive off the bat of Julio Rodríguez that would have tied the game. Scott’s ERA sank to a minuscule 1.64 with this outing. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:25 pm
    • Raisel Iglesias nails down 20th save
Raisel Iglesias struck out two Yankees en route to a save on Sunday. He didn’t allow a base runner.

Advice: Iglesias became the fourth closer this season to cross the 20-save plateau and continues to stifle his opponents despite a strikeout rate hovering around 20%. His role seems safe as ever in the Braves’ bullpen. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:07 pm
