    Ryan Noda was pulled for a pinch-hitter after going 0-for-2 with a strikeout against the Cardinals on Monday.

    Advice: Noda hit leadoff in his first seven appearances for the A’s this season. His last four starts have seen him hit sixth, seventh, eighth and now ninth. The only way to drop him further now is to put him on the bench. It seems like he deserves a chance to rebound, considering that he was one of Oakland’s best players last season, but it’s been ugly so far; he’s batting .156 with one extra-base hit, very weak exit velocity numbers and a far higher groundball rate than last year.     Luis Arráez went 3-for-4 and scored a run in Monday’s 4-3 loss against the Giants.

    Advice: The Marlins are now 3-14. which is their worst start through 17 games of the regular season in franchise history. On the bright side, Arraez appeared to find his offensive ways against San Francisco’s pitching. It’s his fourth multi-hit game this season and he’s hitting .347 in the month of April after he struggled in the first four games of the season in March when he went 2-for-18. The 27-year-old is a hitting machine, but as of right now, that’s all fantasy managers are getting from the reigning batting champion with how poor the Marlins’ offense has been to start the season.
