Abrams went 1-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Rays.

Advice: The Nationals had only three hits on the afternoon, so while Abrams was busy on the basepaths, his efforts couldn't generate any offense. The 23-year-old shortstop had been slumping heading into June, but he wrapped up the month with a dazzling .373/.464/.663 slash line in 97 plate appearances, adding four of his 13 homers on the season and six of his 14 steals. • Hits for cycle in blowout win
Langford hit for the cycle in Sunday's 11-2 win over the Orioles, going 4-for-5 with four RBI and three runs scored.

Advice: Langford made history with the first cycle of the 2024 MLB season Sunday night. He flew out his first time up and then took off from there, tripling in the fourth and then later completing things with a three-run blast in his final at-bat of the evening in the eighth. Langford is putting together quite the rookie campaign despite the season struggles from the Rangers. He became the first rookie in MLB history with a cycle, a grand slam and an inside-the-park home run in a season. He also became the first Rangers rookie to hit for a cycle since 1985. Langford caps off a productive month of June, during which he slashed .309/.368/.526 with three homers, 22 RBI, 11 runs, six steals and an 8:17 BB:K in 106 plate appearances. • Finishes single short of cycle
Paredes went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a double and an additional run scored Sunday against the Nationals.

Advice: Paredes entered the day with just two hits over his last 23 at-bats but broke out of it in a big way with his first three-hit game since May 21. He did all his damage off Nationals starter Patrick Corbin, going 3-for-3 against the lefty. Despite the recent slump, Paredes maintains a healthy .276/.361/.472 slash line on the season with 13 home runs, 43 RBI, 32 runs and 32 walks over 328 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:29 pm

    • Wyatt Langford hits for cycle in rout of Orioles
Wyatt Langford hit for the cycle and drove in four runs as the Rangers bested the Orioles 11-2 on Sunday.

Advice: Langford had just 14 extra-base hits in 59 games this season before coming up with three tonight. The homer, his fourth, came in his fifth and final at-bat of the night. It caps off a fine June for Langford in which he hit .283/.347/.446 with two homers, 18 RBI and six steals in 25 games. Things will likely only keep getting better from here. • Slugs 18th home run
Devers went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in a 4-1 win over the Padres on Sunday.

Advice: Devers gave his team an early lead with his first-inning blast, his fourth homer in his last five games. The Red Sox slugger has broken out of a slump in which he hit only one home run over 15 games. Devers now has 14 extra-base hits and a 1.027 OPS in June, both leading all MLB third basemen. Overall, the 27-year-old is having another fantastic season, hitting .286/.368/.571 with 18 home runs, 45 RBI and a .939 OPS. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:36 pm

    • CJ Abrams on base three times Sunday
CJ Abrams went 1-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base on Sunday against the Rays.

Advice: The Nationals offense was quiet in this one despite Abrams’ knack for getting on base. This was the second time in five games Abrams drew multiple walks and his walk total for June got up 11. That’s a welcome sight after he walked just one time the entire month of May. While still inconsistent, there is a lot of development happening for Abrams in a very short period of time. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:06 pm

    • Out of Sunday's lineup
Ruiz is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Advice: Ruiz has a .639 OPS in his past 10 games and will head to the bench for the series finale in Tampa Bay. Drew Millas will step in behind the plate to catch for lefty Patrick Corbin. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:31 am

    • Slugs another clutch home run
O'Hoppe went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-5 extra-inning win against Detroit.

Advice: One day after belting a decisive three-run homer in the eighth inning, O'Hoppe tormented the Tigers again with a game-tying solo blast in the eighth frame. The budding star ranks fifth among MLB backstops with 12 long balls on the campaign while slashing a strong .273/.325/.478. O'Hoppe has knocked in at least one run in five of his past six contests and has collected seven total RBI during that span. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:07 am

    • Resting against southpaw
Lowe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Lowe will sit for the second time in the series against Washington while the Nationals send another southpaw (Patrick Corbin) to the hill. Jonny DeLuca will pick up the start in right field in Lowe's stead. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:32 am
