      Advice: The 36-year-old hurler picked up his 18th save of the season for his troubles. He made quick work of the Yankees in this one, getting Ben Rice on a ground ball to first, Juan Soto on a liner to left and Aaron Judge on a swinging third strike to end it. The shortstop's fourth-inning homer turned this game into a romp for the Rangers.       Christian Yelich went 3-for-4 with a homer, double, three runs scored and three RBI on Sunday afternoon, leading the Brewers to a 9-2 rout of the Dodgers in Los Angeles.

      Advice: Yelich opened the scoring in Sunday’s contest with a 418-foot (107.2 mph EV) two-run blast off of rookie left-hander Justin Wrobleski in the fourth inning. He then singled and scored on a two-run knock by Blake Perkins in the eighth inning. Yelich also tacked on an RBI double in the ninth and scored on a double by Garrett Mitchell.       Corey Seager went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, a home run, and three RBI in a 13-2 win over the Rays on Sunday.

      Advice: There was plenty of talk about Seager’s early-season struggles, but the 30-year-old is now hitting .271/.352/.473 with 16 home runs and 43 RBI heading into the final week before the All-Star break. With Wyatt Langford surging and both Marcus Semien and Adolis Garcia likely to figure out their current slumps, this Rangers offense could get hot in the second half, and Seager will be right in the middle of it.       The Giants will reinstate Snell (groin) from the 15-day injured list and have him start Tuesday versus the Blue Jays in San Francisco, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

      Advice: As he prepares for his first start with the Giants since June following his second IL stint of the season, Snell will be taking the hill on five days' rest. The southpaw endured some bumps in the road in the first of his two rehab outings in his return from a left groin strain, but he was utterly dominant in his final start for Sacramento on Wednesday, tossing five no-hit, shutout innings while striking out nine. He'll tentatively line up for two starts during the upcoming week, with his second outing set to fall next Sunday versus the Twins in the Giants' final game before the All-Star break.       Pirates general manager Ben Cherington told reporters Sunday that Jared Jones (lat) return from the injured list will be in “weeks, not days.”

      Advice: That’s not a huge surprise, but still a bit alarming to hear at the same time. Cherington did express optimism that Jones can pitch again in 2024, but the Grade 2 lat sprain will keep him out of action for the foreseeable future with the team already announcing Friday he won’t throw for the next two weeks.       Advice: Snell will come off the injured list Tuesday after missing over a month with his groin strain. The southpaw was sensational in his last rehab start with five scoreless innings and nine strikeouts, and while he has struggled in his six starts with the Giants thus far with a 9.64 ERA, the 31-year-old’s pedigree and success in the second halves of season are obviously worth considering.       Advice: It was a huge day for the Nationals' young offense, and Wood was at the center of the eruption, crushing an opposite-field three-run home run off Lance Lynn in the second inning. It took the 21-year-old only six MLB games to launch his first homer, and Wood hasn't had much trouble adjusting to big-league pitching since his promotion, batting .304 (7-for-23) with a 4:6 BB:K.
