    • Giancarlo Stanton leaves game with hamstring issue
Giancarlo Stanton was removed from Saturday night’s battle against the Braves due to tightness in his left hamstring.

Advice: The 34-year-old slugger is set to undergo an MRI exam on Sunday to determine the severity of the injury. This is the type of situation that fantasy managers had been waiting for when Jasson Dominguez was tearing it up at Triple-A but had nowhere to play, but now that he’s on the injured list at Triple-A it’s unclear what they would do if Stanton was forced to miss substantial time. Trent Grisham replaced him on Saturday night and wound up swatting a solo homer. Rotoworld 47 minutes ago

    • Aaron Judge swats 28th homer as Yankees top Braves
Aaron Judge swatted his league-leading 28th home run of the season on Saturday night, helping to propel the Yankees to an 8-3 victory over the visiting Braves.

Advice: Judge opened the scoring in the ballgame in the first inning, crushing a 366-foot (101.5 mph EV) two-run shot off of Charlie Morton. He then strolled to the plate with the bases loaded in the third inning but wound up grounding into a double play. Judge also batted with the bases juiced in the sixth inning, where he worked Aaron Bummer for a walk to pick up another RBI. The 32-year-old superstar is now slashing a monstrous .301/.425/.692 with the aforementioned 27 long balls and 70 RBI on the season. Rotoworld 53 minutes ago

    • Marcus Stroman beats Braves to improve to 7-3
Marcus Stroman picked up his seventh victory of the season on Saturday night, limiting the Braves to three runs on just three hits over his 6 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: Stroman piled up six strikeouts on the evening while issuing a pair of walks. The 33-year-old hurler had allowed just one run through his first six innings of work, but he returned for the seventh where he served up a two-run blast to Travis d’Arnaud before exiting. Stroman got 12 swings and misses on 93 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 27 percent. Now 7-3 on the season, he’ll tote a 3.15 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and a 67/40 K/BB ratio (91 1/3 innings) into Friday’s battle against the Blue Jays in Toronto. Rotoworld 56 minutes ago
    • Charlie Morton gives up five runs in loss to Yanks
Charlie Morton struggled in a losing effort against the Yankees on Saturday night, giving up five runs on five hits over his 5 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The 40-year-old hurler also issued five free passes on the night while striking out four opposing batters. Morton served up a two-run homer to Aaron Judge in the opening inning, then the Yankees scratched out single runs in the third and fourth innings before chasing Morton while scoring a run in the sixth. Morton generated 11 swings and misses on 97 pitches on the night — nine of them on his curveball — while posting a CSW of 24 percent. He’ll attempt to bounce back and improve upon his 4.20 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and an 80/35 K/BB ratio (79 1/3 innings) when he squares off against the White Sox in Chicago on Thursday. • Will miss games
Aaron Boone said Saturday that he's expecting Stanton (hamstring) to miss "days," Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports Saturday.

Advice: Stanton was removed from Saturday's game with tightness in his hamstring and is set to undergo an MRI on Sunday. While Boone is hopeful the injury isn't significant, he's still expecting Stanton to miss some time. Sunday's MRI should provide more clarity on the severity of the injury. Trent Grisham entered the game for Stanton and could be in line for more at-bats while Stanton's sidelined. Rotowire.com Today, 7:07 pm

    • Lifted with hamstring tightness
Stanton was removed from Saturday's game against Atlanta with left hamstring tightness.

Advice: Stanton seemed to aggravate the hamstring while scoring from second base on a Gleyber Torres double in the fourth inning. Trent Grisham pinch-hit for Stanton the next time Stanton was due up. Stanton is set to undergo imaging Sunday. Rotowire.com Today, 6:26 pm

    • Cruz blasts 10th home run in win Saturday
Oneil Cruz went 1-for-3 with two runs scored, a walk and a solo home run against the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Cruz’ home run was his 10th of the year. The solo shot came against Rays starter Zach Eflin in the first inning with two outs. It was Cruz’ first home run since June 8th. While he hits the ball hard when he connects, Cruz’ 32 percent strikeout percentage is still quite high. Maybe he’ll get his power stroke going in the second half of the year to help prop up all the strikeouts.

    • Oneil Cruz homers, scores twice in win over Rays
Oneil Cruz homered and scored two runs in a 4-2 win for the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Cruz obliterated a Zack Eflin pitch for a 445-foot dinger to tie the game at 1-1 in the first. The 25-year-old also drew a walk and came around to score a few batters later. There are going to be ups and downs with Cruz, but the power is obviously legitimate, and helps mitigate some of the contact issues. Rotoworld Today, 3:16 pm

    • Resting Saturday
Renfroe is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Renfroe will take a rest Saturday after returning from the injured list Friday, going 0-for-3 with one walk and two strikeouts. The lefty-hitting Adam Frazier will start in right field Saturday and bat in the leadoff spot against Rangers right-hander Jon Gray. Rotowire.com Today, 11:02 am
