    • Walker Buehler (ineffective) could land on IL
      The Dodgers are considering stashing Walker Buehler on the injured list after his poor performance at Coors Field against the Rockies on Tuesday.

      Advice: It appears this was being discussed even before Buehler gave up seven runs to Colorado, and now the Dodgers have a perfect excuse after Buehler was hit in the hip by a comebacker tonight. Buehler has a 5.84 ERA in eight starts since returning from Tommy John surgery, and the Dodgers are about to get Bobby Miller back from the IL, though he’ll be going into Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s slot.       Suarez (4-1) took a blown save and the loss in a 4-3 defeat to the Phillies on Tuesday, allowing two runs on four hits in one-third of an inning.

      Advice: Suarez coaxed a flyout from Trea Turner for the final out in the eighth inning before the right-hander surrendered four straight hits in the ninth, ultimately allowing two runs to take his first loss and blown save this season. Suarez had allowed just one run in his previous 27 innings coming into Tuesday. He still sports a stellar 1.21 ERA across 29.2 innings this year with a 0.81 WHIP and 28:6 K:BB while logging 17 saves.     • Delivers go-ahead blast
      Hernandez went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 11-9 win over the Rockies.

      Advice: Hernandez had gone six games without a homer after a stretch in which he went deep five times over five contests earlier in the month. He saved his best play for last Tuesday, putting the Dodgers ahead with a ninth-inning blast to complete the comeback win. The outfielder is up to 18 homers, 54 RBI, 41 runs scored, four stolen bases and a .255/.326/.503 slash line through 75 games this season.     • Roughed up Tuesday, could go on IL
      Buehler took a no-decision in Tuesday's 11-9 win over the Rockies after allowing seven earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out two over four innings. According to Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times, manager Dave Roberts said after the game that Buehler could go on the injured list after taking a comebacker off his hip earlier in the contest.

      Advice: Buehler has struggled at times this season since he returned from Tommy John surgery, and a trip to Coors Field did him no favors for getting on track. He's struck out three or fewer batters in each of his last three starts, and Tuesday marked the third time this season he's given up multiple home runs in an outing. Buehler is now sitting on a 5.84 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 31:10 K:BB with 10 home runs allowed over 37 innings across eight starts. He's tentatively in line to make his ninth start next Monday or Tuesday on the road versus the White Sox, his status is in flux due to the hip issue, which didn't force him out of his start against the Rockies but may nonetheless be reason enough for the Dodgers to put him on ice for a bit.     • Heyward, Hernández fuel seven-run Dodgers comeback
      Teoscar Hernández hit a three-run homer in the top of the ninth to propel the Dodgers to an 11-9 win over the Rockies on Tuesday.

      Advice: The Dodgers also got a grand slam from Jason Heyward in scoring seven runs in the ninth. Hernández very well could have struck out to the game on the pitch prior to his homer, but he was given a reprieve by Lance Barksdale on a very close check-swing call.     • Walker Buehler gives up seven runs to Rockies
      Walker Buehler surrendered seven runs in four innings Tuesday in a no-decision against the Rockies.

      Advice: Sigh. Buehler’s velocity tonight was his worst since his rejoined the roster, and he got just three missed swings in his 70 pitches. That he was hit in the hip by a comebacker might have played some role in his struggles. We wouldn’t go dropping Buehler, who is still in a terrific situation with the Dodgers, but his early results in his first six weeks back from Tommy John definitely haven’t been as encouraging as hoped.       McKenzie (3-4) took the loss Tuesday against Seattle, allowing four runs on three hits and four walks over 2.1 innings without recording a strikeout.

      Advice: After holding the Mariners scoreless through his first two innings, McKenzie allowed five of the first six batters to reach safely in the third, ultimately surrendering four runs before the Guardians turned to the bullpen. The 26-year-old McKenzie has struggled of late -- he hasn't made it through six innings in five straight starts, posting a 7.04 ERA in that span. Overall, his ERA is up to 4.48 on the season with a 1.46 WHIP and 65:42 K:BB across 70.1 innings.       Robert Suárez blew a save on Tuesday, allowing two runs on four hits in 1/3 innings against the Phillies.

      Advice: Suárez was called on to protect a one-run lead, but he allowed three straight singles to Bryce Harper, Alec Bohm, and Bryson Stott to tie the game. Nick Castellanos then hit a ground rule double to seal the win for the Phillies. It was just Suárez’s first blown save of the season, and he still carries a 1.21 ERA on the season.       Anthony Volpe went 1-for-5 with one RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Orioles.

      Advice: Volpe got the scoring started for the Yankees in the second inning when he singled to drive in Austin Wells from third.
