      Rockies manager Bud Black said that Bryant isn't in the lineup Monday against the Reds due to a sore back, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Black noted that Bryant is sore after the 32-year-old made a twisting catch in the outfield during Sunday's 4-0 loss to the Dodgers.       Nolan Jones (back, knee) began a minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

      Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old outfielder went 0-for-2 with a walk and was hit by a pitch in the contest. He should only need a few games to get his timing back before becoming an option to rejoin the Rockies’ lineup.
